This was the third company that he created, and that was back in 1996. Over the course of time, he has refined his system. His goal is to put you on the fast track and give you the trainingthat you need so that you don’t have to struggle with the frustrations that he has had to. As you can imagine, when you’re refining, creating, and testing a system, you’re going to hit some bumps along the way. Not everything is going to work the way that you intended it to. The great thing about this system is that Jerry has been able to reduce the learning curve so that you can do all of this without investing much time or having much experience. Jerry says that it was a real wake up call for him when the guys that created YouTube sold their company to Google for billions of dollars. This made him realize that, first of all, technology was improving, and he says that it is amazing to him what this technology has already evolved into. He says that a mentor of his told him once that the goal of business was to find out wherethings were going and then beat the crowd there. So, as video became a part of people’s lives more and more, Jerry strived to make it more a part of his clients’ businesses.

Now, in 2015, people are addicted to video. They are addicted to their screen, whether it’s their phone screen, their laptop screen, their tablet screen, or their desktop computer screen. People are watching videos and utilizing video in unique ways every single day. Jerry wanted tobe able to help people use videos in their websites and social media accounts to better improvetheir business.

What Jerry found out through a little bit of research was that local businesses were typically paying around $6,000, on average, to create and produce video commercials. A lot of businesses were paying even more to produce these types of videos for their businesses, but even just an investment of $6,000 would put a lot of small businesses out of business. That wasn’t even the total cost. They would have to buy media time to run their commercials.

Third, many of the commercials these businesses were having made weren’t very professional-looking. In fact, many of them would be considered ‘cheesy’ by most.

The fact of the matter is that a lot of businesses spend all this money on advertising and they still aren’t getting a desired result. Look at the screenshot above. This is a local television commercial, and in it, the ‘lady of the house’ is singing into a makeshift microphone, which is a plunger, and she’s all excited because her plumbing is finally getting fixed. This was a very low-quality commercial that doesn’t send a very professional image about the business at hand. Businesses are paying $3,000 on the low end, and usually more like $6,000, to have these commercials produced. Then, on top of that, there are other costs involved with airing them.

Jerry realized that there was a lot of opportunity here. He knew that he could reduce the cost, improve the quality, and then effectively market these videos for local businesses. These problems don’t just pertain to small-town USA either. Below you’ll find another example of a really cheesy local TV commercial that was actually done for a business in San Diego. Specifically, this was made for Emerald Pacific Electric, which is located within the metropolitan area. This commercial just wasn’t getting the job done for them, as you can probably imagine.

Jerry started to question “What if I could offer QUALITY videos that would lead prospects to actually pick up the phone and make these videos affordable for local businesses?” He knew that everything was moving towards video, and if he could find a way to create these videos at a low cost, he was sure that he would have a very profitable business. Not only that, but this would be a very effective tool for businesses.

Jerry’s company did some testing, and they discovered that the easiest way to capture a prospect’s attention is through a video commercial. Now, let’s be clear, to offer this as a service, you do not need to have any previous experience, and you don’t even need to own a video camera. Furthermore, you need ZERO video skills. mark when they are trying to use video and local marketing? To begin with, they aren’t good on video most of the time. They are often stiff and a little cheesy-looking themselves because they just aren’t trained to be in front of the camera. Also, they usually don’t have the budget toreally make a professional-looking video.

Many times, local businesses and even the people that produce videos for local businesses don’t know to include a call to action. Therefore, these videos are less effective than they otherwise could be. If you know anything about marketing, you know that having a call to action is vital to any form of advertisement. It should be a call to action included, or truthfully, the whole advertisement is a waste. On top of all of these things, the videos that these local businesses create are usually not very engaging or as engaging as they could be. Studies have shown that you have about 2-4 seconds to capture a viewer’s attention with your video. If you don’t, you will have lost that lead.

Jerry continued to do research and work one this concept of bringing video to the local market. One thing that he and his team had found was that these business owners didn’t understand what it took to create these videos, and they also didn’t realize the benefits that they could get from it. That’s fine. One of the points of all of this is to educate and train people about these aspects of their business.

However, they did move on with this model, and there’s a very specific way that Jerry’s company creates them in order to make them more effective.

They begin by telling the story of someone in “pain”. For example, you might point out some flaws about something in their life. Jerry and his team make sure that their videos are professionally scripted and narrated. They are fast-moving, or fast-paced, and they give a call to action.

contains a call to action that elicits a response. It is very, very important that each of these elements is included in order for a sales video, or video advertisement, to be effective.

What do you think about whiteboard animation videos? Jerry and his team have found that they do very well in getting and keeping people’s attention. Furthermore, they have found thatthe addition of color had a profound effect on their focus groups. The fact of the matter is that these videos sell. Not only are these types of videos effective, but Jerry’s videos, in particular, are all tested, tried and true. They are working, literally around the globe. They know that the videos get results, far more than the cheesy, and often times, poorly-done local commercials that people often have made. Those “cheesy” videos get very limited results for a very costly price tag.

In other words, this is a video that is selling an accounting firm on whiteboard animation. This helps them see what these videos actually turn out like and how they could benefit their business.

Again, the video being spoken of is very professionally done, and it is directed towards the business owner, letting them know how they can solve their problems. This is a great way to introduce them to the whole concept and idea of whiteboard animation. Obviously, this also shows them how Jerry’s team can solve their problem, which is getting access to more customers.

The question you’re probably asking at this point is “How do you land the clients?” This is muchsimpler than you might think. First of all, you’ll want to pull a targeted list of prospects, and then you’ll use a pre-written email template to contact them. There’s software that Jerry has that does all of this for him, and in this lesson, you’re going to learn how you can go about getting access to this software as well as how to use it. The third step in this process is to send the viewer to a DFY video. To reiterate, the steps are:

You are going to get a list of prospects. These are prospects that are within a certain niche and within a particular geographic area. For instance, you might target dentists within Phoenix, Arizona. Secondly, you’ll contact these prospects with a pre-written email. These are emails

that have been tested by Jerry and his team, and they are known to convert. When they get that email, they are directed to a video that targets them specifically. A very stealth technique is used to make sure that they will take a look at this video too, by the way. Then, the video does the selling for you. That’s the best part about this system.

The first case study in this lesson is on a man named Rick N. He spent one hour of his time sending out his pre-written emails, and a large chunk of this hour consisted of the software he used doing its work. He got nine different replies from performing this task, and four of those prospects purchased a video. Of those four, two prospects moved forward to buy other services from Rick. This brought in thousands of dollars in revenue for Rick. Remember, this just took up an hour of Rick’s time, and most of that was the software doing the work. A summary of this case study is shown above.

Jerry says that he typically sets the software up to run a few different searches at times when he is away from his desk, such as in the evening or overnight. When he comes back to his desk, he’ll find that the process is done and that the search is complete. This is really cool, he says. You are about to see the process of how you can plug into this strategy and start utilizing the exact same tools.

One of the cool things about this system is that since it runs on auto-pilot, there’s really not a lot of work for you to do. Another student of Jerry’s is a woman named Nancy. She wanted to do this just part-time, and she didn’t want to have to talk to or sell to any of her prospects. She only wanted to work with people after they had made a purchase with her. So, what she did was use the system and got everything set up, and she used the ‘Lead Automator’ to generate

the leads. She then sent the leads to her landing page, and only after they bought did she engage with them and talk to them.

A summary of Nancy’s case study is shown above. It shows that she was able to make $2,890 within just a week and a half. Again, she doesn’t even talk to these clients until after they buy. Jerry teaches his students to get the “yes” from their clients and then grow that “yes”. He advises that you get that initial “yes” by using a smaller price point, and then you can offer additional services that you can provide.

So, how much is one of these potential clients worth? It’s really up to you. You can sell these videos for whatever price you want. Jerry recommends that you never sell your generic “as-is” videos for less than $500. He personally thinks $1,000 is a good number. Most people don’t want generic videos though. They want their logo put in and it customized so that it’s unique totheir business. Jerry says that you should never sell these types of videos for less than $1,000 apiece. He believes the “sweet spot” price for this is $1,500. Truthfully, this is a small investment for having a video that’s going to dramatically increase the level of leads, prospects,and bottom-line profits in their business.

To have a video customized for a client, your cost is less than $100. So, you pay less than $100, and you make $1,500. That’s a pretty good profit margin, isn’t it? After you produce the video,and they start seeing some results, you can then come back in and charge for additional services, none of which you’ll have to do.

What kinds of services can you offer? Well, obviously, they are going to need some help with video marketing. They are going to want to get as many eyeballs on their new video as possible. Jerry’s team can also approve your clients’ Google search ranking through Search Engine Optimization (SEO), and they can help with their reputation management as their mobile websites, social media, new websites, and mobile apps. Now, one of the things that’s especiallyimportant for you to know about and keep in mind is that as of April 21st, 2015, Google is going to start penalizing companies and websites as well as lowering their search rankings if their websites are not mobile-friendly. Through his research, Jerry has found out that over 80% of the company websites out there in the market today aren’t mobile-friendly; so this is going to have a huge effect on people.

Google will change their parameters and criteria, and in fact, they do so quite regularly. Most of the time, however, they’ll just do it and not tell anyone about it ahead of time. Mobile is such a big deal to Google though, that they are actually giving a heads-up warning in advance. This makes for an amazing opportunity for you to go in and offer those additional services.

Whether you decide to do this on a part-time or full-time basis, you have the chance to launch your own agency overnight. This is going to be a real agency that can essentially provide ANY and EVERY marketing service these businesses could ever need! The best part of it is that you don’t have to do the backend work yourself!!!

Jerry says that he wishes that he had had this when he was first starting out. This software does a lot. To begin with, it gives you targeted prospects. It also emails them for you on auto-pilot and submits your message in the contact form of their website. On top of all of that, it letsyou know if their sites are mobile optimized and if they are well ranked. It also will give you insights on their social media usage and so much more!

The interface of this software is shown above. You simply enter in a keyword related to what you want to search for. For example, you might look up ‘dentist’. Then, you can specify a location. You can see that in the example above, Jerry typed in ‘Grand Junction, CO’. Next, you’ll specify the ‘Google Country URL’.

If you’re searching a location within the US, it would just be ‘Google.com’. However, take not that you can use this software to market your services internationally. All you have to do is choose the Google URL for that particular country. The dropdown menu contains all the URLs for each country that Google has a URL for. This is all built into the Lead Automator system.

This is very powerful software that spiders all over the Internet looking for businesses that meetyour specified criteria. You can even add more filters than what’s shown if you like. Now, this software doesn’t take up a lot of your computer’s capability, so you can literally run multiple searches at one time.

It’s recommended that you stick within a particular niche in all of your searches. Later on in thelesson, you’ll learn more about how to put together a business plan that allows you to roll out each individual niche, maybe one week at a time. For example, today you might search for dentists in your home area, but tomorrow, you might search for dentists in a neighboring area, like the next largest city close to you. Then, maybe the next day you could search for dentists inan area that you would most like to go vacation at. You can use this for any area that you want.

During his presentation, Jerry searched for ‘hvac’, or heating and air conditioning contractors. The springtime is a great time to go after this market because this is when they advertise the most. The area that Jerry designated for this search was Austin, TX, and he only clicked on the filter that allowed him to see whether or not the prospect’s website was mobile-friendly. Because of the Google mandate of April 21st, this is like shooting fish in a barrel. Keep in mind though that you don’t lead with the idea that they need the mobile-friendly services. You always want to start them off with the whiteboard animation video, using the system.

You can make this such a no-brainer for people. There is an email swipe file for you to use with each of the 21 different industries. Again, this entire system works on autopilot. You’re going to start to see where the software is doing the search for you. Then, you’re going to plug in the email copy. So, the Lead Automator generates the leads and then it sends out the emails as well. This email then sends the prospects to the landing pages so that they can view your sales video. This landing page actually closes the deal for you and collects the payment.

Not everyone is going to go visit the landing page the first time that they receive your email, and not everyone is going to make a purchase the first time they see your sales video. For these reasons, it’s recommended that you have a follow-up campaign where you send these emails out again, and you can actually outsource the sales process as well. You can see in the picture below that the software has finished its search. It brought up 75 leads.

At this point, you would just tell the system to send out an email that’s written specifically for the dental industry. By the way, you don’t want to change these messages, aside from putting in your own details where necessary, because these emails have been tested and proven to work.
