  • EPA Waste Prevention Award 2014 TidyTowns Special Awards Overall winner: 1000 Ballon Improvement Group, Co Carlow for An Siopa Glas Not just a community shop for reuse but also taking local business remnants (sawmills, fabric) to make products, promoting skills, being used for events, and strong links to the school Money made by the shop is reinvested back in projects for the village.
