The chichen itzen Myans were peaceful, and never killed each other, until there was another legion of mayans who took them over and introduced human sacarafice to there god’s to give them rain to give them the crops that they survived on. they also have a sacrafical well which is called a ‘senote’ where they threw Man, women and children into the senote to please there god’s to give them rain and also to gain a better postion in the after life

UXMALThe mayans of Uxmal were a peaceful tribe and never really thought any battles between any other tribes. They mostly farmed off the land and prayed to their gods, mainly the rain god Chak. They would also obey the laws of their king and also the preacher. The preacher had his own temple on top of a hill and the main temple of Uxmal was to pay homage to Chak. They would pray to him when they needed rain for there crops, animals and for drinking. they would make offerings to the gods to please them. They would go into panic if they didn’t get rain for months, the Mayan people would think that they

have upset Chak. they would then offer more valuable luxury items which consisted of: Jade jewllery, honey, fine clothes and fine luxury materials to please the gods. When they did get rain the Mayans would celebrate and collect as much water for drinking as possible.
