Possible ProblemsPossible Problems

We cannot get a filming permit for filming in a public place.

The weather may affect shooting due to continuity as well as being too severe to film completely.

People may be interfering with shots/filming. This can affect continuity as well as overall mood of the film.

The equipment being stolen. It is after all a public place with strangers therefore we have to be extremely weary of the equipment as well as cast/crew.

Noises from birds/trains/planes/cars/people.

The cast/crew may trick and fall over unknown objects laying around the park. We must be extremely careful due to this being a new filming place for all of us.

The equipment may be stolen- cast/crew may be attacked. Once again, we need to be careful and weary of the situation.

Cast/crew/equipment may fall into the pond. We do not need to film directly next to the pond for any of the scenes except the floating bottle, therefore we need to stay away!

Classroom In School

Possible ProblemsPossible Problems

We would not get the requested classroom for the filming days. Therefore we need a back up classroom in case this happens.

There are many desks in the classroom, but because we have a limited amount of cast it would make the class seem unreasonable. If at all possible-move the desks out or stack them in the corner.

Noises from adjacent classrooms or the hallways. We need to make sure the projector is off because the fan in it can be easily picked up by the mic.

Letting just the right amount of light in. We want the classroom scene to be bright and however if we open up all the blinds people from outside may be seen and this could cause a continuity problem.

We need to be careful with the electrical equipment in the classroom.

Always keep in control of the extras as this is where the extras will be present in the film. They must not get out of control because accidents can happen if not everyone is being careful.

Things to watch out for: tripping hazards on the floor such as leads, boxes, chairs; keeping equipment out of everyone’s way for the cast/crew’s as well as the equipment safety.
