Location one: Golf Links estate

• One of our locations for filming is the Golf Links estate in Ealing. We will be filming in the garages of the estate and also in Saint Andrews tower on the estate.

of the locationHow the location

does thisCreate the impression that our artist is a criminal in the beginning of the videos narrative.

Housing estates are synonymous with crime, and so if our artist is on the estate in the video it will create the impression that he involved in criminality.

Establishes that the police are investigating the artist and carrying out surveillance on the artist.

The location has lots of elevated positions, such as blocks of flats, which are commonly used by police during criminal surveillance investigations.

Dangers on location Preventative measures

The estate is rife with crime. This means that our equipment maybe stolen during the filming.

We can prevent our equipment from being stolen by filming in open well lit areas where robbery is less likely to occur.

So of the shots will be from elevated positions, if anyone falls from these positions it could result in injury.

We can prevent falling from elevated positions by only filming in elevated areas that are enclosed or railed off to prevent anyone falling from high positions.

Location two: Ealing Broadway station

• Another one of our locations for filming is Ealing Broadway station. We will be filming outside and inside the station.

The areas in which we will be filming outside the station are; outside the stations entrance and near the parade of shop (which are close to the station).

There are lots of commuters who use the station and they may interrupt our filming.

We can prevent this by trying to get the commuters to walk around our filming area rather than through it.

We may be prevented from filming by the police.

We need to inform the necessary authorities that we will be filming near the station to make sure they don’t prevent our filming.

Location three: inside a Tube carriage

• For one of our locations we will be filming inside a Tube carriage.

The Tube carriage shows the artist is physically moving from an area of poverty to an area of riches.

To provide a suitable location for the police to pursue the artist.

We need to get permission to use the carriage for filming.

We may be prevented from filming by the police.

does thisThis will represent the artist successfully succeeding to enter a new life due to his music.

The artist will arrive at Russell Square station and perform his music. Russell Square is a rich area and him performing his music there will represent his success from music and ability to use music to create a new life.

To provide a suitable location for the police to pursue the artist.

The police will follow the artist in to the Tube carriage
