HARDWARE

PROSPEC has over 30 years of experience in engineering and constructing the aluminum and wood locker bodies to which we fasten our tempered glass fronts. Together we’re exceeding the demand for creative lockers.

Lockers are available in high quality tempered glass with a variety of interlayers, for projects from public swimming pools to health and fitness clubs—where resistance to vandalism, ease of maintenance and cleaning are vital.

Compartments of variable height provide high storage space for walking aids used by people with reduced mobility, including wall mounted lockers to give wheelchair access, and are ADA compliant. Doors, number plates and tactile numerals are available in contrasting colors to assist visually impaired users. A keyless lock with push lock/unlock action avoids turning, for people with reduced dexterity. Electronic combination locks are also available.

Our technical team can advise on appropriate types of locker layouts, lock options and available finishes. The preferred internal shape of the storage lockers should be able to provide the maximum amount of clear space inside each compartment with hanging fixtures. This permits choice of space utilization with jackets/sports bags accommodated as required. While compartments may be sub- divided they are not user friendly, resulting in wasted space, preventing storage of larger sports bags also creating difficulties with ventilation and cleaning.

Dry AreaGlass lockers are designed for use in dry areas incorporating wooden bodies with tempered glass doors. End and infill panels available in matching glass.

Wet/Dry AreaGlass lockers for use in wet areas incorporate aluminum bodies with radius back corners for ease of cleaning and molded aluminum shelves, with ventilation at the front.

Wet/Dry Areas Glass front lockers with aluminum bodies

HARDWARE LOCKERS

Glass lockers for use in wet areas incorporate aluminum bodies, 3/8" low iron tempered glass with color ceramic frit or 3/8" tempered low iron laminated glass with color or material interlayer, and profiles with aluminum molded shelves. Lockers can be cleaned by hosing down with water without risk of degradation. Suitable for health and fitness facilities and membership clubs in both private and public spaces.

Spring loading for automatic door closing. Limited to approx 90° to prevent the doors opening across adjacent lockers as a safety measure, also to prevent damage to keys.• A selection of locking systems are available providing security, cost and operational options.

Dry Areas Glass front lockers with wood laminate bodies

HARDWARE LOCKERS

Features:• 5/8" high-density, high-impact, thermo-fused colored or woodgrain melamine bodies finished both sides with dowel and screw construction, available in a choice of colors and timber effect finishes.• Base, top and shelf units made from the same material.• Full width hanging rails are provided in all compartments of 36" or more.• Low iron glass is standard to give a true color finish.• Concealed door frames from extruded aluminum profiles.

Glass lockers for use in dry areas incorporate wooden bodies, 3/8" low iron tempered glass with color ceramic frit or 3/8" tempered low iron laminated glass with color or material interlayer—a totally different design concept and a change from the use of hardwood doors that have become a standard in many health and fitness clubs. Glass lockers are in wide use across Europe and the USA. Suitable for health and fitness facilities and membership clubs in both private and public spaces.

Security Key, Keypad and Bluetooth locks

Aluminum Hasp & ClaspThe aluminum hasp and clasp is machined from aluminum engaged into grooves in the doorframe profile, the clasp is formed by a machined hole in the door and aluminum numberplate attached to the door by 316 grade stainless steel through fixing into satin anodized aluminum doorknob. Padlock can be supplied by the Client or CARVART.

Camlock (Wet and Dry Areas) Wet—Standard Camlock from solid brass, nickel-plated cam lock with 6-pin cylinder, drilled security key, master key series with 1600 differs. Attached to the door on aluminum number/ backplate by 316 grade stainless steel through fixings.

Dry—Standard camlock, nickel plated with 10 wafer cylinder, reversible key, master key series with 4000 differs. Attached to the door on aluminum back plate using through fixings.
