To plan for the new adoption of the new curriculum in the coming year and begin to get ready for the instructional changes that will come with this new adoption.

Mini Pilots of the Final Selection ● Pilot Teachers from all grade levels and sites were given
materials from the finalists to use in lessons. ○ Teach at least two lessons from each of the programs○ Fill Out Rubric for each of the programs○ Collect Questions for committee to ask publishers
● Pilot teachers and students were given rubrics to score the materials○ Same Rubric for each Grade Span that was created by the

Roll Out and Professional DevelopmentSub-groups began to put together rough draft agendas for what they would like to see from the Roll Out and 1st Day
Trainings.
Things to consider:1. What does a teacher need to know for the first day?2. What materials have to be covered and what can wait until
later in the year or be done in house?3. How should the day be broken up?4. What support will teachers new to the program need?
