Checking Certification Status

It is possible for a Certified or Master technician to check what they still need to do in order to maintain their certification on the Mercury LEARN site. Things to keep in mind: For each product line, you must complete a classroom course, an e-skill that would pertain to that product line (either the specific product line, or one that is common between outboard and MerCruiser) and a Product Update (new requirement for 2012/2013) From the home screen, click on “Curricula”

Here you will see all the curriculum that have been assigned

This screen will show the requirements to maintain your certification, as well as the date it is due.

In this example, two of the three requirements to maintain certification have been met. The Product Update would need to be completed by 8/21/2013. Once the Product Update is completed, the certification will be marked complete until 8/31/15.

Viewing Learning History To view training you have already completed, click on the “Completed Work” link

From the Completed Work page, you can see the results of your training, and the date that it was recorded.
