Third night oflogistics The third night of logistics, arranged on the occasion of the Day of Logis-

tics by the Competency Network Individual Logistics and BundesvereinigungLogistik, was held at Osnabrück’s Alando Palais in April. In a relaxed atmos-phere, pupils and students were given the opportunity to obtain informationabout career paths in logistics directly from businesses based in the Os-nabrück region. In addition to specialist presentations there was also a con-tact fair to exchange the latest job, training and internship offers with repre-sentatives of the companies. Fiege also benefited from this opportunity andwas present with a newly-designed trade fair stand to present itself to tomor-row’s experts. Especially the Chinese exchange students from OsnabrückUniversity of Applied Sciences were highly enthusiastic about the offers andinternationality of the Fiege Group.

“Rock your Life” donationOn the occasion of his 40th company anniversary,

which was feted with a small celebration by the family-owned company as well as numerous invitees from theprofessional life of the jubilarian, Dr. Hugo Fiege handedover a sizable donation to the “Rock your Life e.V.” chari-ty organisation, an educational initiative of students. Theirgoal is to accompany socially-disadvantaged pupils in anenvironment that is removed from an education- and inte-gration-oriented setting over the last two years of theirschooling with a specially-trained student so that thesepupils have a better opportunity of finding an apprentice-ship after graduating, or pursuing secondary education.12 highly-mixed teams saw the invitees prove their teamskills and dexterity during a contest such as, for examplearchery or goal-shooting. The team with the highest scorewas crowned the winner and was allowed to select acharity to which Dr. Fiege then extended his donation lat-er on. The winners chose the “Rock your Life” charity onthe anniversary – an organisation known for its outstand-ing work in many German cities already, including alsoMünster, jointly with students from universities and uni-versities of applied sciences.

Fiege takes onfrontlineshop logistics

Ibbenbüren handles the full rangeof logistics for frontlineshop.

“Ganz schön gewagt?! Wenn der Sprung ins Unbekannte lockt” (Daring! – when tempt-ed to head for the unknown) – so the motto of the 27th Symposium Oeconomicum Mün-ster held at Westfälische Wilhelms University on 7th May. This economic congress hasbeen organised by students since 1987 and year after year has been attracting interestingfigures from politics and business. Following the welcome address by North Rhine West-phalia’s Minister of Science, Svenja Schulze, the symposium’s keynote speakers gavetheir support to the young guests in line with the motto of the day and advised them to beprofessionally courageous and not to shy away from the unknown. In addition to special-ist lectures on marketing, finance, HR, businesses, threshold countries and commerce,the 600 business students had the opportunity to exchange information at the contact fairwith different companies. The Fiege Group also used this day at Münster’s Palace to in-troduce itself to the students. The specially designed SOM brochure highlighted the topicof the day and demonstrated that venturing into the diverse, international and fast-pacedworld of logistics of the Fiege Group may well prove worthwhile. Over the day, many inter-esting conversations were held between company representatives and students. It wasnoticeable that the growth markets of India and China, to which Fiege has been commit-ted more strongly over the past years, are very appealing to young people. Here, too, itturned out that not everyone is familiar with the diverse working environment of a logisti-cian but that many a personal conversation easily turned scepticism into curiosity.

We can expecta reliable delivery of the ordered goods to our customers as well as a quick returns processing”. Frontlineshop is a Hamburg-based online store for street fashion. Stocking some 250 brands, it is the leading provider on the German-speaking market. Inaddition to such exclusive brands as Roscoe, Liebestraum and Cookie its spectrum of labels ranges from adidas Originals,Carhartt and Nike to Ben Sherman, Fred Perry, Séssun or Topman. With this, the online shop showcases a unique mix of topbrands and of-the-moment newcomers. Frontline GmbH, formed in 1986 as a music mail order house, converted its productrange to street fashion in 1994. Frontlineshop employs some 80 people at its Hamburg headquarters.

The Fiege Group is now operat-ing as a fulfilment provider forlogistics, IT Order Manage-ment, Payment and DebtorManagement of Grohe AG, aGerman company specialisedin sanitary fittings. Grohe AGwanted to set up a scalable in-ternational eCommerce solutionwithin a relatively short time pe-riod of six weeks. During a pilotproject the eCommerce shopfor the Netherlands was added.Logistics are handled at theIbbenbüren facility. The core ofFiege’s solution is the OrderManagement System whichwas configured as a multi-clientsolution as such that the indi-vidual local requirements of thecountries, such as paymenttypes, taxes or accounting is-sues, can be implemented.

one hand a uniform SAP-architecturewas established with the STORM ITproject, to be used as the basis for allbusiness processes; on the other, theLANA logistics project repositionedthe company’s logistical handling – aproject implemented jointly withFiege.The core premises for both projectsincluded:– SportScheck changes the supplychain system and its entire IT ar-chitecture simultaneously;

– Complete introduction of SAP incl.reorganisation of established busi-ness processes – prototypical itera-tive project approach;

– “No relevant connection of thecurrent logistics with the new IT”and “no connection of Fiege withthe old IT”;

– No major interruption of the sup-ply to end customers for onlinetransactions or the supply ofbranches;

– No substantial building of invento-ry, not even temporarily duringthe relocation, with full availabili-ty of the product range in bothworlds.

The co-operation with the FiegeGroup includes B2B, meaning thesupply of the branches in Germany,as well as B2C, for the supply of endcustomers in Germany, Austria andSwitzerland. Fiege also integrates var-ious value added services and isequally in charge of returns logisticsfor the B2B and B2C sector. At thesame time, returns processing hasbeen fully integrated into supplychain flows. Implementing these supply chainservices took the past two years. Sup-ply chain processing has been inte-grated at the long-established multi-user facility of the Fiege Group inApfelstädt near Erfurt. The heart ofthe highly-automated supply chainconcept is a hanging garment sorter.The Fiege Group already applied thissystem’s principle to its Greven facili-ty. A two-stage order picking selectsthe items for the orders scheduled forthe individual batch in a first step, on-ly to be sorted by customers using thehanging garment sorter in a secondstep.The sorting facility inclusive of inte-grated dynamic buffer integrates the

Geared to-wards a maximum throughput ofsome 80,000 items per day with atwo-shift operation, SportScheck isgiven the capacity to handle evenmajor seasonal and promotionalpeaks with certainty in order to offerto the customer a steady, high supplychain quality.

He thendecided to turn his hobby into a livingand founded “Sporthaus Scheck” onFärbergraben. The passionate athletehad absolutely no clue about the in-dustry until then, but a good idea.Otto Scheck bought truckloads ofarmy inventory from the CentralRegistry for State Assets (StEG). Hehad anoraks sewn from tarpaulin andsugar bags, turned the snow-whiteskis of mountain rangers intocoloured “SportScheck skis”. Scheckwas one of the first to recognise thatdoing sports should also include hav-ing fun and socialising. So in addition

The world’s largestsports store

Nowadays, the company from Un-terhaching with the imitable housecolour – orange – is considered “Ger-many’s leading multi-channel sportsretailer”. The new address of the flag-ship store on Neuhauser Straße 19-21is located on Germany’s most expen-sive and highly frequented shoppingstreet. 10,000 square metres make it“the world’s largest inner-city sportsstore”. Sales worth around 320 mil-

Central station for skiers

Skiing was the ultimate en voguesport during the post-war period. Ot-to Scheck served this trend and par-tially initiated the trend himself. In1948 he founded Germany’s first ski-ing school. Every Sunday morningsome 4,000 Munich citizens and1,300 children drove in Scheck busesand in two Scheck-dedicated trains,each filled with 1,000 “skiing bun-nies” on board, to the Alps. Scheckmade sure that Upper Bavaria’s skiingslopes looked as if “they had chickenpox”. “Speedy Otto”, a popular Diesel loco-motive, transported the high societyand hundreds of athletes to Kitz-bühel. Every season, no fewer than70,000 people from Munich learnedhow to ski, and to love skiing. OttoScheck’s scheme was simple: “If onlyone in ten of my 7,000 Sunday-onlyathletes still needed something fortheir skiing outfit, then that makesfor an additional 700 customers perweek, and that’s something, no?” Hisidea was successful:

For every kilometre run byevery city marathon participant,SportScheck donates five cents to the“Sport im Hort” charity initiative. Thisdonation generates over 30,000 eurosevery year for children and youth fa-cilities, to be used for a good cause, andto-date more than 180,000 euros havebeen donated to 52 care centres. Ski-ing-celebrity star Felix Neureuther isthe patron and SportScheck ambassa-dor for this project.In addition to the largest citymarathon series in Germany Sport-Scheck also organises today, amongstothers, the largest material test in theAlps, the GletscherTestival, held inAustria’s Stubaital, with 3,500 win-ter sports articles and some 25,000visitors. The OutdoorTestival inItaly’s Molveno and its 13 differentsports is considered the most diverseoutdoor event in the Alps.

In summer, Hermann Buhl, who hadreached the top of the Nan Parbat,arranged high-Alpine sports events fora discerning clientele. Buhl was at thetime the head of the department formountaineering and skiing at Scheck.Reinhold Messner had his tents for hisMount Everest expedition sewn bySportScheck. Scheck enjoyed a globalreputation as an outfitter for high-Alpine equipment. Scheck influenced the German tennisscene in a similar fashion. His ownyouth tournament is called to life in1956, Steffi Graf is one of the talentswinning this legendary junior tourna-ment. Scheck has courts built andpushes tennis as a sports for the peo-ple. Tennis courts sprouted likemushrooms. At the end of the 70sthere are 127 SportScheck tenniscourts around Munich; 50 tenniscoaches give 50,000 tennis classes forbeginners in affordable groups at theall-weather facility. Whoever welcomes celebrities likeBoris Becker, Cindy Crawford orFranz Beckenbauer to their home,outfits the national skiing team andimports new trends at an early stagesuch as American sports like baseball,basketball, football and later inlineskating, will quickly make it to thetop. In 1970, five years after OttoScheck passed his business to thenext generation, his son Klaus,Scheck calls himself the “world’slargest sports store”. Otto, the no. 1mail order house, and SportScheck,the no. 1 sports retail trade, havebeen co-operating since 1989. “Hehad the best catalogue in Germany’s

Bobsleighing meets logisticson the Day ofLogistics in Thuringia Over 300 people interested in logistics headed to Fiege’s Mega CenterApfelstädt near Erfurt on 10th April. While at the Day of Logistics, visitors gained insight into a logistics centre specialised in online trading.

Yet the Day of Logistics or-ganised by Bundesvereini-gung Logistik (BVL) was tobring supply chain opera-

tions closer to visitors. The goal is alsoto arouse enthusiasm in people for aprofessional profile in the logistics in-dustry and thus to sharpen the indus-try’s profile. The personnel manager,Christian Heym as well as projectmanager, Sascha John answered thequestions of visitors about the logis-tics facility in Erfurt regarding profes-sional possibilities, projects at theMega Center Apfelstädt and expecta-tions of future employees.Many visitors turned out to be avidwinter sports fans as the round oftalks that followed with the bob-sleighing sports legend and nationalcoach, Wolfgang Hoppe and one ofGermany’s current top bobsleighstars, Francesco Friedrich (youngest

two-man bob world champion in theworld), showed. The lively discussions covered topicslike bobsleighing technicalities, victo-ries and losses, daily training routineas a top athlete and the more recent,rather disappointing Olympics inSochi.The bob on display allowed visitorsto try for themselves what it feelslike to squeeze into the surprisinglytight hull. The winner of the follow-ing prize draw can look forward tozooming down the bobsled run witha partner in Oberhof in autumn ofthis year, with Wolfgang Hoppe bytheir side. No later than after thisevent did the visitors realise that theregion of Erfurt, in addition to itsreputation as a winter sports capital,has also reached a top spot as an in-demand logistics region over the pastyears.

The recently amended GoodDistribution Practice (GDP)requires all pharmaceuticalswhich to-date could be

transported in any temperaturerange, to be transported in a tempera-ture ranging between 15°C and 25°Conly with immediate effect. GDP-cer-tification is a must for all serviceproviders operating in the healthcareand pharmaceuticals sector as it regu-lates processes and requirements forthe distribution and sale of pharma-ceuticals. Before this, there were twomain temperature ranges for the stor-age and transport of pharmaceuticals:deep-frozen (–18 °C) and refrigerated(2 to 8 °C). Temperature sensors hadto supply proof that the cold chain

from the production to the point-of-sale had been maintained. All pro-ducts outside of these two main tem-perature ranges could be transportedjointly with the refrigerated products.This was a cost-effective solution asvehicles could maintain a single tem-perature range only. Fiege BV in Zaandam near Amster-dam equally benefited from this prac-tical guideline and always maintaineda 2°C to 8°C temperature range for its

40 vehicles. Fiege Zaandam distrib-utes pharmaceuticals for over 115customers from the pharmaceuticalproduction and wholesale sector.Fiege drivers supply chemists,wholesalers and all hospitals in theNetherlands. In addition to transport-ing refrigerated consignments, Fiegeis also the leading carrier for radioac-tive products and supplies jointlywith a partner in Belgium the largestdistribution network for isotopes inBenelux. Renowned customers in-clude Roche, Abbott, Mallinckrodt orIBA–CIS BIO. All vehicles designatedfor the distribution are fitted withGPS and temperature sensors so thatthe dispatcher always has the exactposition and temperature at hand.Following the amendment to theGDP guideline all vehicles must nowfeature two refrigerated compart-ments with different temperatureswhich must be equipped with sepa-rate temperature sensors. As the vol-umes transported in either categoryfluctuate substantially, it proved achallenge to find an economic solu-tion which allows the efficient use ofavailable space. The solution which Fiege found forthe two different temperatureranges produced vehicles withtwo cooling engines and oneevaporator. These coolingengines can be operated in-dependently of each otherwith different tempera-tures. The breadth of the

cargo compartment is separated by aflexible partition. The partition can bepositioned anywhere, to cater to thenumber of consignments for the indi-vidual segment. A ‘smart’ fan hasbeen fitted into the partition whichexchanges cold and warm air be-tween the compartments. This helpsto keep temperature fluctuations dur-ing the trip and while offloading andloading as minimal as possible.

stitute for Process Management andLogistics (IPL). The institute sees it-self as a partner for mid-sized enter-prises and participates within a national as well as international en-vironment in the research and fur-ther development of the logisticsgrowth industry and has been a co-operation partner of the Fiege Groupsince 2003.The IPL is a young institute: only inMarch 2013 the plan was implement-ed during the official opening tomerge the logistical competencies ofMünster University of Applied Sci-ences’s Economics faculty through re-structuring. The already existing in-formal co-operation between variousprofessional groups of the researchand training faculty were to be insti-tutionalised. storage, order picking, packaging to dispatch the weaknesses were located, prioritised and short-, mid- and long-term action plans were designed. Benefits were carefullyweighed against costs and the impacton other aspects such as changes tothe IT environment, were examined.This resulted in a quality supply chainconcept for the customer from an ac-ademic as well as practical perspec-tive.And even the IPL’s students benefitfrom the co-operation. In the past,numerous excursions took place toFiege’s logistics locations in Ibben-büren, Hamburg, Apfelstädt, Wormsand Dortmund. During the eventsstaged at the University guest speak-ers from the Fiege Group present lec-tures or are present during otheruniversity events, such as the wel-coming of students at the start ofevery semester. Additionally, stu-dents are given the opportunitywithin the scope of working studentactivities during the semester or in-ternships during the semester break,

Quite often, graduates can jointhe company immediately after com-pleting their studies. The co-operation is therefore an ad-vantage for both sides. On the other hand, Fiegeenlarges its scientific expertise and isalways up to date with the latest re-search in logistics. The recruitment ofskilled logistical staff is simplified andthe company acquires well-trainedstudents with innovative, fresh ideas.“The geographic proximity betweenthe head office in Greven and Mün-ster’s University of Applied Sciencescreates optimal conditions for this co-operation”, explains Prof. Dr. Vallée.And even for the future it is plannedthat these projects be continued: “Theinstitute is open to many ideas.”

The IPL as such was only formed in2013, yet the co-operation with theEconomics faculty at Münster’s Uni-versity of Applied Sciences with theFiege Group has been in the makingfor over ten years. The co-operationstarted in 2003, when Fiege, jointlywith three other logistics companieslooking for skilled employees andjunior managers, offered a founda-tion professorship that focused on ITin logistics. Prof. Dr. Franz Vallée,previously also working as a scientistin production planning at various lo-gistics companies and company con-sultancies, was the successful candi-date and took on the professorship in2005.Projects shared with partners arehighly diverse. Within fashion logis-tics, a co-operation between Fiegeand the IPL led to an optimisation ofprocess-flows at a customer’s centralwarehouse. From incoming goods to

50 logistics professionals visited the Megacenter Mönchengladbachduring an event staged under the Germany-wide Day of Logistics cam-paign held by Germany’s logistics association, Bundesvereinigung Lo-gistik e.V. At the heart of the event organised by Fiege uni/serv was anexchange of experience covering innovative topics and challenges with-in personnel logistics. Those participating in the event – specialists fromthe industry, retailing and services – were given the opportunity to ex-perience modern and efficient personnel logistics in harmony with tai-lored conveyor systems and distribution technology demonstrated us-ing the European Distribution as an example. “Only those who arecapable of finding a conceptual solution for the requirements in terms ofqualification and recruitment of staff as well as flexibility in relation toseasonal fluctuations in the textile industry today will successfully runlocations like these in Europe”, explains Frank Bilenler, regional manag-er West of Fiege uni/serv. In addition to a tour of the company and anexchange of experience it was mainly information about the joint ven-ture agreed in February 2014 between the Fiege Group and Work Serv-ice S.A. Capital Group that formed the focus. At the end, all participantsagreed that the intensive exchange should be taken up again next year.

Children’s Day inBor u TachovaJune of this year saw the Fiege team in the Czech Re-

public participate in an event of a very special kind: alllogistics providers located at the CT Park in Bor cametogether to arrange a fun-filled day of entertainment andactivities for the families, and especially for the children.Around 1000 children and their parents flocked to theCR Industrial Park and celebrated the Day of the Familyand Children. Many interesting presentations, such as abike trial show, a juggling presentation, puppet theatre,and demonstration by firefighters and first responseteams as well as an air show entertained both the chil-dren and the adults. The Fiege Team organised a spe-cial area where they had set up a puzzle of a lorry madeof cardboard. The little visitors had much fun “driving”the streets leading to the “warehouse location”, wherethey handled goods with a small forklift with plastic ped-als.

During earthworks on Fiege company grounds in Apfelstädt an excavatordamaged the location’s power supply lines so severely at around 3.45 pmon 24th June 2014 that the entire external power supply was interrupted.Building services experts immediately spotted the problem and alerted ener-gy suppliers to instantly send out emergency services. Within a few secondsafter the power failure the emergency power generator kicked in, feeding thepower supply for the entire location with the exception of the sorting andconveyor systems. All server units were initially powered by buffer batteriesand then via the emergency power generator so that an uninterrupted oper-ation was secured. During the entire repair period of the supply lines, opera-tions were kept running, with few limitations only. By 8 pm already, fasterthan planned, the power was switched back to the main supply lines.

The Fiege Group renders logistics servic-es, CEP and IT order management serv-ices for Germany’s Red Cross shop,rotkreuzshop.de of Deutsche Rote KreuzServices GmbH. The Red Cross shopwas set up for the associations andmembers of the German Red Cross inGermany. The shop allows customers toorder everything from a pen to a campbed for their work with the associationsand clubs. Orders can be placed throughthe Web shop or by phone via an ordercentre. Fiege is responsible at theGroßbeeren site for logistics and parcelservices. The core of the solution is theIT Order Management System, whichhandles the Web shop’s order manage-ment and takes charge of the order cen-tre. The Fiege system equally takescharge of inventory management anddispatch.

to win, these teams qualified for thesemi-finals: Fiege Logistik Bremen,Fiege Logistik Neuss Team1, FiegeTeam Hungary and Fiege Logistik Han-over. The semi-finals produced Bre-men and Neuss as the winning teams.Fiege Team Hungary managed to comein as a successful third. The team fromBremen deserved winning the cup,making them the winners of this tour-nament. Thus the Fiege Soccer Cup2015 will go to the river Weser.

Bremen wins the Fiege Soccer CupFiege’s annual Soccer Cup was held on 2nd August. Just as every year,last year’s winners organised the tournament – in this case, the teams wereheaded to Barsinghausen near Hanover.

the third Fiege Westphalia Cup employ-

ees and customers ran, kicked and head-

ed to win the highly coveted football cup.

With the aim of scoring as many goals as

possible, 14 employees and customer

teams started out on 28th June 2014 at

the sports arena of the SC Greven 09 to

win the title for their team. The many

fans, friends, colleagues and family mem-

bers that had come along supported the

players from the sidelines and created an

exuberant atmosphere. With matches

played lasting ten minutes each, the par-

ticipating teams threw themselves with

the conviction of wanting to win at the

ball and showed their football-playing

skills. After exciting semi-finals the

Snipes and Baxter teams met during the

final. Neither team shied away from giving

it their all on the field but in the end, the

Snipes managed to take the title during a

penalty shootout. The match for the third

place saw the team from system head-

quarters equally face and win against

KPMG during a penalty shootout.

Since 2009 an OccupationalHealth Management hasbeen in place with the helpof AOK Rheinland-Pfalz/

Saarland at the Fiege location andwas further expanded and consolidat-ed over years. In 2010, Fiege receiveda premium certificate from AOK andTÜV for the first time. In 2012, thefirst Premium Re-certification was is-sued, a repeat recognition of the highstandards in health. In July of thisyear, Fiege then received the secondPremium Re-certification.On the company grounds in Worms-Rheindürkheim is where the Goldseal was handed over. IDC Wormscan verifiably look back at a reduc-tion of the company’s sick rate andimproved ergonomic as well as or-ganisational working conditions. The

important thing here is mainly theprevention amongst employees inorder to avoid absences. MichaCoeleveld of the AOK health insur-ance company, who has been activelyco-supporting the location since2009, equally confirms this.A health audit checks the processflows and documentation for theirsustainability and currentness everyother year. The auditors of TÜV Saar-land have developed their own crite-ria for this which is applied depend-ing on the size of the business and thespecifics on site.

An idea was born at the Dortmund site

which – possibly – saved a human’s life:

All employees were asked to give a

bone marrow donation in order to help

the husband of a colleague who had

been diagnosed with leukemia. The

branch’s assistant, Andrea Redenius,

who had registered years ago with the

German bone marrow donor registry,

DKMS shared the good idea with the

management and works council so as

not to limit the call to the location in

Dortmund, but to have all German

branches join in. “The group works’

council passed the idea to the Fiege

family and they gave a green light for

our campaign – and more: the Fiege

family declared its willingness to pay for

all costs of these efforts for all Fiege em-

ployees”, says Andrea Redenius. The

willingness to have their bone marrow

specified was high amongst all; in Dort-

mund alone, of 61 employees, 35 quali-

fied for admission to the donour centre.

“It was a great feeling that so many em-

ployees immediately declared their will-

ingness to help. And the best thing

about the campaign is that in the mean-

time, a matching donour has indeed

been found for the person concerned!“

Of course, no one knows if the donour

came from the ranks of Fiege ...

the competition “Turning old intoNew” by the logistics company Fiege.The idea of the two employees, Is-abell Pieper and Linda Niedenzu evenstruck a chord in Düsseldorf. TheLand of North Rhine Westphalia re-

warded it as the “Commitment of theMonth”.The task is simple, the outcome im-pressive: with a 300-euro budget,each team is to create somethingnew, sustainable from something thatcan no longer be used. The creationsfrom the second stage were presentedby the vocational preparation coursesthe Coesfeld and Lüdinghausen Guild

that’s how the team’s minds andhands worked together to turn an ex-isting shed with reclaimed wood intoa hut, wooden pallets became furni-ture, a fence was repurposed as a sup-port for a raised flower bed, old plas-tic containers were used as flowerpots and a bath tub as a garden pond.Costs: 273 euros.

The other teams also created uniquethings. The TBZ found itself in me-dieval times and for 220 euros turneda dented locker into a 1.90 mtr highgiant of a knight with fold-out barbe-cue. And the youngsters had hardlyany prior knowledge of metal work-ing, let alone of riveting. “They man-aged totally on their own”, so themaster craftsman, Detlef Kempken.The Coesfeld Guild got along with the

smallest budget of 140 euros only andworked old roller tables into a cafécounter. When placing the furniturethey realised that the wall did notmatch, so it promptly underwent aface lift with a fresh coat of pain. Theteam from the Lüdinghausen Guildcreated a chill-out zone using oldwagon seatings, which offered a pic-turesque panorama from the train’swindow. The four-man jury had a dif-ficult decision to make. In the end,the garden project was the winningentry.“In terms of rating, all teams wereclose. But Möbelbrücke of the Evan-gelical youth support managed to im-plement a large-scale project in ashort period of time with many partprojects. And most of it independent-ly”, is how Jens Hamann, spokesmanof Fiege Logistik, reasoned the deci-sion. For which of the three mainprizes the team will opt is still notknown. They can choose between acanoeing tour, a climbing tour or go-cart racing. The other participantswill share the runners-up position.
