1. OUR SERVICES.NON INSTRUSIVE SURVEYS

The purpose of the report is to inform the client of any breaches in compartmentation and subsequently,depending on the severity of defects whether the premises is considered safe for occupation. It will providedetails of the breach, provide remedial solutions and a schedule of works required.

2. RELEVANT LEGISLATION.All premises are required to comply withthe functional requirements of the BuildingRegulations, our inspection and reportconsiders section B3 of the BuildingRegulations (Part B) which covers theinternal fire spread.

Following Building Regulation approval atconstruction, the building owners (and theiragents) and / or the Responsible Personunder the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety)Order 2005 are responsible for themaintenance of fire stopping systemswithin the building.
