Launch Event
Principle – during the week we will showcase a campaign launch event, bringing key individuals from each organisation together to celebrate the intent of the week.
Activity:A high profile key speaker has been asked to speak at the event.•The Team have written to the London Mayors office to request Boris Johnson to host the Launch event
The proposed location will be at City Hall, the offices of the London Mayor

Each organisation will have the opportunity to involve their Executive Leadership team in a challenge.
Split into 2 teams, to promote competition with the option of involving charity sponsorship, each team must complete 10 challenges.
Each challenge is aimed at promoting the daily struggles faced by those who have suffered life changing injuries from occupational health illnesses sustained at work.

Principle – To promote involvement it is important teams across the organisation feel empowered to participate collectively in a health based activity during the week.
Activity:This could be a challenge similar to the Executive Challenge or alternately one the team think up themselves. Examples could include:
• Team walks at lunch breaks• Team physical health activities before or after work• Teams participating in a healthy lifestyle education
session• Etc…

Principle – a 30 minute halt for health to be undertaken for all to engage on work related health.Standardised presentation literature produced and issued to all organisations for adaptation to suit (slides 8 – 24)
