Houses of Parliament

Ladies and gentleman, welcome on board the Thames Princess.

We are now leaving Westminster Pier and you can see the Houses of Parliament. You heard a bell a minute ago. That was Big Ben up in the clock tower there. Most people think the clock is called Big Ben, but it´s really just the bell. The tower is part of the Houses of Parliament.

On the right you can see the South Bank Complex. The famous Museum of Moving Image is there. That´s a museum about the history of the film. They show you how the old film machines work and they tell you all about how they make the big films now. In one area of the Museum of the Moving Image you can be Superman and fly through the air on a TV screen.
