VOLUNTEERING

Audubon Everglades is committed to educating and inspiring people to conserve natural resources, the environment, and wildlife.

Birding is one of the fastest growing (and, we think, most rewarding) hobbies in the U.S. Birds, while visually beautiful, are also the “canaries in the coal mine” for our rapidly changing climate. Avian populations are indicators of the health of our environment – especially in South Florida. The more we understand this connection, the more effective advocates we become to protect endangered habitats and species for the enjoyment of generations to come.

PHOTOGRAPHY CLUB:The Audubon Everglades Photography Club welcomes nature photography enthusiasts seeking to enhance their skills through workshops, programs, and competitions. The group meets from Sept-May on the fourth Monday of the month (third Monday in Dec and May) at 7PM at St. Michael’s Lutheran Church, 1925 Birkdale Drive, Wellington, FL.
