The English Utopia Spring 16 collection "Just in case"

"Creating a Spring Outerwear collection always comes with challenges. Not least because we tend to hang around in Tee Shirts and complain if our summer is inconvenienced with a spot of bad weather, cold and/or wet. But........"just in case"

My cycle to work everyday provides the perfect backdrop to some of the inspiration for our styles and I wanted to share some of my 25 mile route with you.

I follow the river in Knaresborough for a a couple of miles. best part of the ride.

This is the D85 Women's 'Cracked Cotton Nylon waterpoof jacket with mesh lining. A nice lightweight feel and a good look!Storm collar that collapses nicely if worn casually.

I love the fact that the whole colour pallete for the collection was in this wall..About 19miles into the ride

This is one of the most intersting landmarks along my ride. Beautiful sculpture out of an old tree trunk. I design clothes, that's all, but THIS wood carving is both creative and brilliant.
