How are “My Relationships?” With the understanding of the first topic (“Inner-Child”) one will have the basic knowledge about relationship with himself or herself. This workshop focuses on interpersonal relationships including parent-child, couples, partners, colleagues, boss-employee etc

Looking at Ways to Life Coach Myself

“You've got to do your own growing, no matter how tall your grandfather was.” Irish Sayings

Are we born as a “Tabula Rasa”_ Latin word for “Blank Slat”, as John Locke the philosopher of

seventeenth century viewed the child? Or are we born as “Nobel Savages”, naturally endowed with

a sense of right and wrong and with an innate plan for orderly, healthy growth as Jean-Jacques

Rousseau in the eighteenth century claimed? There are many other theories, research and

discussion about human development and growth with regards to nurture and nature. The

important point is how we born and in which direction of growth and development are we moving?

We face variety of changes and challenges in our lives. We learn how to behave in certain ways to

confront, or react toward these situations. The changes and challenges are sometimes physical

changes such as aging, social challenges such as working in especial area or immigrating to a new

country. There are other emotional, cognitive and behavioural changes and challenges that we facethroughout our life.

The question is: “How can we best prepare for these trials and tribulations?” What tools do we need

to take good decisions and realize our full potential?

I believe knowing oneself is the most important thing. This gives us freedom to live our lives fully by

making best decisions. It also helps us to manage our thoughts, feelings, emotions and behaviour.

Therefore, I propose a series of workshops about knowing oneself. This includes:

1- Where is your “Inner-Child”?

2- How are “My Relationships”?

3- Appreciating “Body & Mind”

4- Who I Would Like to Be?

Where is your ‘Inner-Child”? The focus is on understanding our deepest emotions, thoughts and

internalized behavioural patterns which impact on everyday life.

Through greater self-understanding and self-awareness, we will be better equipped to deal with

taking decisions and to manage behavioural traits.

For example one may discover why he or she has a high tendency for self-harm behaviours such as

smoking, drinking, over eating etc…One may come to understand the root of some of deep feelings

and emotions like anger or sadness by knowing “Inner-Child”. One will be able to move toward a

happier life enjoying their “Inner-child” making adult’s decisions.

How are “My Relationships?” With the understanding of the first topic (“Inner-Child”) one will have

the basic knowledge about relationship with himself or herself. This workshop focuses on

interpersonal relationships including parent-child, couples, partners, colleagues, boss-employee

etc…

It provides insights on the tendency toward being controlling, dependent, caring, loving, supportive,

co-dependents in particular relationships.

Participants will learn more about the dynamic between their relationship with themselves and their

interpersonal relationships. They will be also able to enjoy their relationships by managing their

strengths and weaknesses in their interactions with one another.

Appreciating “Body & Mind”; this continues to support understanding our physical and

psychological needs. It will also help to identify some of the past or current issues which affect our

lives. It will also suggest coping strategies and ways to manage, accept or change the situations.

For example some of the techniques of mind-fullness for anger management and stress

management will be provided and stimulated during the workshop.

Who I Would Like to Be? As we move forward with the knowledge and awareness that one might

gain from the previous workshops we will focus on higher levels of human needs.

These needs are self-esteem and self-confidence as well as the need for self-actualization, wisdom

and helping others toward growth.

Activities for this workshop are Mind-Mapping and Goal Setting.Development and growth are processes; these workshops aim to provide steppes to enhance self-

awareness, healing, growth and to help others with their own life journey.
