Offering (60 Seconds) Purpose: Recap teaching in one sentence. Explain offering and pray over it while it’s collected. Sample Script: Let’s give it up one more time for (speaker name)! Age is just a number, and you’re never too young to set an example. Speaking of that, one great way you guys set an example is through your generosity. I see so many of you who are giving every week, and it inspires me! But, why do we give? See, giving isn’t really about the money. It’s about your heart. When we give, we become more like Jesus, and God uses our giving to help more people come to know Him. Let’s pray for our offering. God, thank You for giving us Jesus as the best example to learn from. Help us become the people You’ve created us to be and set an example for all believers. We pray that You would help us be more generous and that You would use this offering to help more people enter Your family. In Jesus’ name, amen. Offering (60 Seconds)

Purpose: Recap teaching video lesson in one sentence. Explain offering and pray over it while it’s collected. Sample Script: That was awesome! It’s time for us to grow up—but not too fast. Now, let’s shift gears to our tithes and offerings. Tithe is an older word that means “tenth.” We take the first 10 percent of money we make—maybe through an allowance, chores, or birthday money—and give it back to God through the local church so that more people can hear about Jesus. Offerings are giving anything more than that. Giving is a very mature thing to do because it puts others first, and it requires that we manage our money wisely. But giving isn’t about the money. It’s about our hearts. When we give, we show God we trust Him and that He matters more than our money. Let’s pray for our giving. God, thank You for teaching us and helping us grow up. We also pray You would bless this offering and use it to help more people find out about Jesus. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Week 2: Grow Up Maturity

Countdown/Hangout (15 Seconds)

Purpose: When the countdown begins, prepare students to wrap up their free time and find their small group leader. Sample Script: What’s up, Loop?! My name is ______, and I’ll be your emcee. Let’s get this party started by getting with our small groups to talk about the icebreaker question.

Announcements (60 Seconds)

Purpose: Celebrate salvations, announce upcoming

events, share series Bible Plan, and transition to activity. Sample Script: If you made a decision to follow Jesus, congratulations! That’s the best choice you could ever make, so be sure to tell your small group leader so they can celebrate with you and tell your family. Now, listen up for some announcements!

o Our YouVersion Bible Plan this week is called How to Grow Up. It’s a great way to take what we’re learning in Loop and put it in action outside of Loop.

o 6th graders, if you’re having fun in Loop, you’ve got to check out Switch on Wednesday nights at 6:30. It’s super fun! Also, ask your small group leader about Swerve.

Now, it’s time for the best part of Loop—your small group time! We’ll get things going through a tasty—or maybe not so tasty—challenge!

Welcome (30 Seconds)

Purpose: Transition students from the icebreaker to worship. Sample Script: Okay, Loop! I’m not the only person you need to know in here. Your small group leader is the real hero. Go ahead and give them a high five! Great! Our goal in Loop is to have fun, so we only have three rules: Respect your leaders, respect others, and respect the room. Sound good? Stay with your group and let’s get ready to worship!

Transition to Message (30 Seconds)

Purpose: Transition students from worship to teaching video. Sample Script: Worshiping here at Loop is one of my favorite parts of the week, and God loves it when we worship Him together, too! Now, we’re starting a brand-new series of The Loop Show! We’re talking about all sorts of things—from childish things to #goals to where to put your tongue in pictures. That’s right—maturity! Let’s check it out.

Offering (60 Seconds)

Purpose: Recap teaching video lesson in one sentence. Explain offering and pray over it while it’s collected. Sample Script: That was powerful stuff. Life is hard sometimes, but God is still good. So, let’s worship our good God through our tithes and offerings. Why is that worship? Because worship isn’t just singing songs. It’s anything that puts God first. Giving is a great way to do that because when we give, we’re showing God that He matters more to us than money or things. And, when we give, the church uses that money to help more people find out about Jesus. Let’s pray for our offering. God, thank You for always being with us, even when life is really hard. Thank you for caring about us and loving us no matter what. Help us get through hard times with Your help. We pray that You would also use this offering to help more people know about You so that they can have peace when life gets hard, too. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Countdown/Hangout (15 Seconds)

Purpose: When the countdown begins, prepare students to wrap up their free time and find their small group leader. Sample Script: Hey, Loop! It’s great to see all of you today! My name is ______, and I’ll be your emcee. Let’s get started by getting into our small groups to discuss the icebreaker question.

Announcements (60 Seconds)

Purpose: Celebrate salvations, announce upcoming

events, share series Bible Plan, and transition to activity. Sample Script: If you made a decision to follow Jesus, we are so excited for you! Make sure to tell your small group leader so that they can celebrate with you and tell your family. Now, listen up for some announcements!

o Our YouVersion Bible Plan this week is called How to Grow Up. You can do it with your family, friends, or Loop group using Plans with Friends, and it even has some of the videos from The Loop Show in it.

o 6th graders, if you’re having fun in Loop, you’ve got to check out Switch on Wednesday nights at 6:30. It’s super fun! Also, ask your small group leader about Swerve.

Now, it’s time for the best part of Loop—your small group time! We’ll get things going with a fun activity—let’s see who’s ready for a little friendly competition.

Welcome (30 Seconds)

Purpose: Transition students from the icebreaker to worship. Sample Script: Hey, Loop! I just heard some of your answers, and I am grossed out. Some things just aren’t meant to be dipped in sugar. Anyway—to help us have an awesome time in Loop there are only three rules: Respect your leaders, respect others, and respect the room. Not too bad, huh? Okay, stick with your group and let’s worship!

Transition to Message (30 Seconds)

Purpose: Transition students from worship to teaching video. Sample Script: You guys sounded incredible! Now, who’s ready for another awesome episode of The Loop Show? I know I am! We’re talking all about maturity, and we’re not gonna sugarcoat it. Turn to your neighbor and say, “Don’t sugarcoat it!” Excellent. Let’s check it out now!

Offering (60 Seconds)

Purpose: Recap teaching video lesson in one sentence. Explain offering and pray over it while it’s collected. Sample Script: What a great way to end the series! Jesus is working on us, in us, and through us, and He helps us become spiritually mature. Now, let’s shift gears and get ready to give our tithes and offerings. Giving a tithe means giving the first 10 percent of money you get or make back to God through the local church. Offerings are anything more than that. We do this not because God wants our money but because He wants our hearts. When we give, we put God first and show Him that He is first in our lives. So, let’s pray for our offering. God, thank You for working on us, in us, and through us. Help us become more spiritually mature, and teach us ways we can get to know You more and more. God, we pray also for this offering. We pray You would use it to help people all over the world know how much You love them. In Jesus’ name, amen.
