Two checks were stolen at the same tim~- The check was made payable to a Panamanian company, TIDR, ndwas deposited into a T.I.D.R. account at SQCIETE GENERAL B , Paris, France. T.I.D.R is ownea by SOGHANALIAN. A stop p en was p ace on-the check by SOCIETE GENERAL an~d the heck was returned to SOGHANALIAN. SOGHANALIAN in order o avoid suspicion, turned the _check over to the Secret Service t the u.s. Embassy in Paris,. ~ranc~. He .. cli:limed that the check was given "i:o him
