Education Week Parents & community members are invited to celebrate

Education Week with us next week. This year’s theme

is “Celebrating Local Heroes” and we are encouraging

everyone to remember someone in our community who

is a hero to them. It may be a sporting legend like Josh

Jackson or Tanya Hollow or it may be a family member

who went to war. Whoever it is, it will be someone

special in each family.

We will have Open Day on Thursday July 30th

.

Parents, families and community are invited to attend

our school to celebrate with the children. The

Ten Dollar Circus & Paparazzi Club News

Circus Training is on Mondays 3.30 -5.00pm in the

Hall. A reminder to students who attend to come

prepared to practise diligently to develop a good level

of skill.

Gulgong Markets is on the 4th Saturday each month at

Coronation Park. Help is needed from 8.30 -1.00pm.

Free lunch is provided to those TDC & Paparazzi

students who come to help for the day.

St Johns Anglican Markets in Mudgee is on Saturday

August 1st. Help is needed from 8.30 -1.00pm. Free

lunch is provided to those TDC & Paparazzi students

who come to help for the day.

A Paparazzi Shoot is being planned to go to Mudgee at

night for a full moon. Local professional photographer

Amber Hooper is going to help with the night shoot

and also provide some tips about portrait photography.

Students will be working on entries in the Australian

Photography Magazine Junior Landscape and Portrait

Competition during Term 3.

P&C News

P&C meets on the first Wednesday each month at

5.30pm in the Staffroom. The next meeting is

Wednesday August 5th at 5.30 in the staffroom.

The minutes of each P&C Meeting are posted on the

school’s website.

Canteen The Canteen operates on a volunteer basis under

Managers Tina Doherty & Maree Papworth. More

volunteers are always sought. If you can spare any

time to help in the canteen just contact Tina or Maree

on

63 741060. You can also just walk in and make

yourself known at any time.

For Parents of First Eucharist Children

The sacrament of First Eucharist will be

Once again the Mudgee Readers’ Festival will be

holding a Second Hand Book Fair. You are invited to

participate by booking a table to sell second hand

books in the Auditorium at Parklands Resort and

Conference Centre on Saturday 15th August 2015.
