• Turn your work after each row

• Ch 3 in beginning of a row counts as 1 dc.

• Ch 1 in beginning of a row does not count as a stitch.

• All popcorns in this pattern can be altered with a dc if you like less texture.

Start:

Ch 4, sl st in 1st ch to form a ring.

If you don’t want tassels on your shawl you can make picots in the corners of the shawl

instead of ch and slipstitches.

picot with 2 ch, 1 sc} between 2 8-dc-groups worked around row 1 (picture 2 and 3).
