EXTENDED ENGINE PROTECTION 30 years ago, car manufacturers recommended oil change after 10,000 km. 15 years ago, the recommended interval of change was extended to 15,000 km. Today, you are likely to change oil after driving as many as 30,000 km. The engine construction has undergone a significant change during this time.

The engine’s weight, size and displacement have been reduced. High-tech charging and fuel injection systems have been developed. Construction materials and the engine cooling system have undergone a change, and the control of the exhaust emission has been taken over by diesel particulate filters. As a result of these changes, oil has to provide effective protection of the engine for a longer period of time, being exposed to greater thermal and mechanical stress. Extended Engine Protection Formula is the technology of oils developed by an international group of experts in cooperation with leading producers of enriching additives according to the rules of the industry ”ATIEL Code of practice”, based on synthetic base oils of highest quality, coming from producers that are signatories to EELQMS Base Stock Manufacturer’s Letter of Conformance. Each oil contains a set of finely selected multi-functional improvers, whose quality is checked on an ongoing basis, and a viscosity index improver resistant to high stress occurring during an engine’s everyday work. Finally, the oil formulations were successfully tested on numerous occasions in conditions and engines indicated in ACEA Oil Sequences and standards of individual OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturer).
