Freedom High School opened to students in August 2005.  The student population at the beginning of the 2009-10 school year was 1,640.  The Freedom Athletic Facilities are some of the best anywhere in Virginia. 

 

 

Freedom Hall.  Freedom Hall is dedicated to celebrating the achievements and successes of Freedom's championship teams and all state athletes.

 

 

Freedom Stadium.  The Freedom Stadium is home to the Eagles Football, Lacrosse, Soccer, and Track and Field Teams.  Seating Capacity is 3,000.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Main Gym.  The Main Gym is home to the Eagles Volleyball, Basketball, Gymnastics, and Wrestling Teams.  Seating Capacity is 1,600.

 

 

 

 

 

Auxiliary Gym.  The Auxiliary Gym is home to the Eagles Volleyball and Basketball Teams.  Maximum Occupancy is 431.

 

 

 

Softball Field.   The softball is home to the Eagles softball team and hosted the Dulles District Championship in 2008 and 2010.  Seating capacity is 500. 

 

 

Tennis Facility.  The Freedom Tennis Facility has 6 tennis courts for use by the Eagles Tennis teams.  Seating capacity is 500.

 

 

 

Baseball Stadium.  The baseball stadium is home to the Eagles Baseball team and hosted the 2008 and 2010 Dulles District Championship.  Seating capacity is 500. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Shot Put and Discus: The Freedom Track and Field team hosted the 2010 Dulles District Track and Field Meet and upgraded the facilities for the event. It is now a top notch facility for our Freedom Throwers!

Main Practice Field.  The practice field hosts practices for the Eagles Football and Soccer Teams. 

 

 

Practice Field 2.  Practice Field, often called the Eagles Nest, Dog Pound, or the Cage, hosts practices for the Freedom Football and Lacrosse Teams. 

 

Wrestling Room.  The Wrestling room hosts practices for the Freedom Wrestling team. 

 

 

 

 

Weight Room.  The Weight Room is used by all Freedom student-athletes, as well as Freedom's Physical Education classes. 

 

 

 

Oatlands Plantation.   Oatlands Plantation hosts practices and meets for the Freedom Cross Country Teams.

 

South Riding Golf Club.  South Riding Golf Club hosts practices and matches for the Freedom Golf Team. 

 

Ida Lee Swim Facility.  Ida Lee Park hosts meets for Freedom's Swim Teams. 

 

Cub Run.  Cub Run hosts practices for the Freedom's Swim Teams.

 

Claude Moore Recreation Facility.  Claude Moore hosts practices and meets for Freedom's Swim Teams.
