It is our policy to always serve alcoholic beverages
in a responsible manner. We will abide by all liquor
laws outlined by the Saskatchewan Liquor and
Gaming Authority. Alcoholic beverages shall not be
served to minors or intoxicated persons. As well, the
Hotel reserves the right to cease liquor service where
applicable.
The Hilton Garden Inn Saskatoon will supply all alcohol
either as a Host, Cash or Subsidized basis.
The Hilton Garden Inn Saskatoon will supply
complimentary bartender services for groups with
bars generating revenue of $400 (before taxes) or
more on each bar required. Bars generating less than
$400 will be charged $20 per hour, per bartender
for a minimum of four (4) hours. One hour set up
and a half hour clean up time will be included in the
bar wage that is charged. The hotel provides one
bartender per 100 guests. Additional bartenders
are available at $20 per hour per bartender for a
minimum of four (4) hours.
At our discretion, for larger bars we will supply a
cashier (at no additional charge) to sell drink tickets.
Below prices include Saskatchewan Liquor Tax and
GST. All prices are subject to change without notice.
All bar services end at 1:00 am.

• All food and beverage served in the hotel is to beprovided by the Hilton Garden Inn, with exceptionof the wedding cake and alcohol for a permit bar.
• Guarantee: Minimum guaranteed number is dueno later that 12:00 noon three (3) business daysprior to your event. In the event that a guaranteednumber has not been received, the billing will bemade out for the number of persons for which thefunction was originally booked, or the number ofpersons in attendance, which ever is greater. Whena guaranteed number has been provided, billingwill be done as per the guaranteed number or thenumber of persons in attendance, whichever isgreater.
• Deposit and Cancellation: In order to guaranteeyour booking, a non-refundable advance depositof $1000.00 and a credit card number arerequired within 30 days of reserving the space.An additional deposit of the remaining balancewill be required 3-4 weeks prior to the event.Any outstanding monies will be due on the firstbusiness day following the event. In the eventof cancellation all deposits are non-refundableand a written cancellation is to be directed to theCatering Department.
• Damages:The Hilton Garden Inn SaskatoonDowntown reserves the right to inspect andcontrol all private functions. Liability for thedamages to the premises will be chargedaccordingly. The convenors of any function areheld responsible for the damage to the premisesby their guests. The hotel will not be responsiblefor damage or loss of any personal property and/
or rental and equipment left in the hotel prior to,during, or following any function.
• Start and end times of all functions are to bestrictly adhered to.
• The Hilton Garden Inn will not be responsible forthe delivery and/or set up of the wedding cake. Itis the direct responsibility of the convenor to makethese arrangements for the day of the event.
• Due to health and safety regulations, the HiltonGarden Inn does not allow anyone to supply theirown late lunch, as well, late lunch will remain in thefunction room up to a maximum of 1 ½ hours andwe will not permit any hotel food to be taken off ofhotel property or used the following day. We willbe pleased to repackage your wedding cake to takehome at the conclusion of the evening.
• If a Permit Bar is choosen All alcohol (which must be accompanied with the appropriate valid Saskatchewan Liquor Permit and receipts) may be delivered one to two days prior to your event provided that arrangements have been made with the Catering Department. Deliverieswill not be accepted between the hours of 11:30am –1:30pm or 5:00pm –8:00pm.
• All decorations, rentals, remaining alcohol, validSaskatchewan Liquor Permit and empties mustbe removed from the property at the conclusionof the event. In the case of a gift opening thefollowing day on hotel premises, left over weddingcake may be stored for the event.

• The Catering Department must be notified of anymaterials or rental items being used during yourfunction. The Hotel will not be liable for these items.
• Decorating will be accommodated based on room availability.
Terms & Conditions• The Hilton Garden Inn does not permit nails,hooks, staples, tacks, glue or tape to be used on thefunction room walls, doors, moldings, light fixturesor ceilings. Fun Tac is acceptable.
• Audio/Visual Equipment: Please refer to ouraudio/visual price list for details for equipment andservices available.
• When music is played in all function rooms (eitherlive or recorded/with or without dancing) a licensemust be obtained for the Society of Composers,Authors and Music Publishers of Canada (SOCAN)and ReSound. These fees will be applied to billingand are subject to GST.
• No homemade liquor, beer or wine is permitted inaccordance with the Saskatchewan Liquor Laws.• Service of alcohol will cease ½ an hour prior to theend time of the event, or expiration of the validSaskatchewan Liquor Permit, which ever comesfirst.
• All Saskatchewan Liquor Laws are to be adhered to(Including maximum drink charge as stated on thespecial occasion cost recovery permit).
• A $30.00 damage fee will be billed for each linendamaged.
• Functions held on statutory holidays are subject toa labour surcharge or room rental fee.
• No confetti or sparkles are allowed to be used inthe function room. Use of them will result in alabour charge for the clean up.
• The Hotel reserves the right to provide an alternatefunction room best suited to the group should thenumber of guests attending the function differfrom the original number quoted.
• All menu prices and room rental charges aresubject to change without notice: however wewill honour prices three months from the date ofcontract.
• Convenor is aware that with a Permit Bar there willbe opened alcohol at the end of the evening andthe Hotel is not responsible for any opened bottlesor cases.
• Room must be vacated no later than latest timeindicated on the Banquet Event Order.
