It was the same old routine. We come back from training and end up arguing aboutsomething that was not worth arguing for.

As I sat on the couch reading my book, he flipped through the channels. His face

glued to the TV. not even paying attention to what I was doing.I had held back a secret for a while. Every day I noticed something different from him. Like his crimson red eyes that had scared me before now seemed attractive. His sharp canine like teeth were now appealing to me. I wanted him to kiss mewith those luscious lips that made me swoon. I would wonder why I felt like this. Maybe I had already felt like this, but didn't really understand it.

Every time a girl would appear and squeal when they saw him I would give them the look that said get-your-hands-off-him-he's-mine look. I always felt that he was mine. I wished he could hold me tight and-

"Maka?" was the sound that pulled me out of my thoughts.

"Huh? Yes Soul."

He looked at me with those piercing crimson eyes. Curiosity covered his face ashe stared into my forest green eyes.

"what are you thinking?" he asked. What the hell was I going to say? Oh I was just thinking of how much I loved you. This was so embarrassing!

"umm.. I was thinking about how.. uh-"

"Maka.."

"yes Soul?"

"I've been wanting to say that I-I-I love you.."

My heart started beating so fast, I thought it would burst. Was I hearing him correctly? Or was my mind playing tricks on me?

His eyes told me that he was telling the truth.

"Soul-"

Before I could get out anything he pressed his lips against mine. They molded wi

th mine in different ways I never knew were possible. My heart sank into the kiss as I wrapped my arms around his neck. We pulled back gasping for air.

"Soul I love you too," I said smiling with excitement. I leaned my head againsthis shoulder and he smiled. "I love you more tiny-tits"
