Love Family Piano www.RexburgMusic.com 2013-2014  Love Family Piano Registration Packet - 2013-2014 Piano Lessons (Ages 7 + ) Love Family Piano lessons are seriously fun! We are committed to providing weekly music experiences that will inspire and excite. The 2013-2014 studio school year consists of 33 lessons, 9 master classes, 2 studio recitals, 2 festivals, and 2 field trips. During individual lessons, students will prepare repertoire that challenges, and inspires. Students will be active participants in their own music education, and will always be asked for input on music selection and lesson focus. In addition to general music theory, technique, and performance, lessons may include composition, improvisation, and more, according to the student and parents ’ desires. Apart from time spent individually with the instructor, all lessons include Music Tech Time (MTT). This technology based learn ing will assist in the reinforce ment of skills learned in lessons. Master classes are group opportunities for students to learn from, and perform for one another, learn new concepts, and have fun. Lesson Location: The home of David and Denae Love, 80 North 5 th West, Rexburg, Idaho. Pre-Piano Group Classes (Ages 4-6) These 45 minute weekly group classes will prepare mini musicians for private piano lessons early. They will focus on basic music theory and vocabulary, rhythm, note reading, piano orientation, and general musicianship through group play. Students will be taught in groups of 3-6, using many methods and learning st yles. Classes will be catered to young childre n, and engage them with games and activities, to repeatedly teach principles in multiple ways.
