I heard this from most of the people I met outside the campus. If you ask the majority of the people in the campus, they will tell you that it is true but a small bunch of romantic zombies don’t agree and so I decided to present the life of these specific kind in our campus. As the semester starts and the living creature (includes animals. Believe me! If you stay in the break of summer or after fall you won’t see any sign of life in this campus) start coming to Cyprus, the first thing you see after a few minutes of hardly settled moments is couples hugging and kissing each other like people who didn’t get love at home and after many days got someone to take out their frustration. This love takes place for a month but when the midterms comes closer it is hard to believe that it intensifies more as a thought comes to their mind after seeing the course books and notes of the friends that nothing can be done now and it is best to do the thing which they are best at “ LOVE” . Throughout the semester you would find these lovers ubiquitous wandering around, having no idea what to do next but surprising each other with the improvised ways of kissing or holding each other. Sometimes you get confused whether they are performing acts of love or exercising. There is no particular place for finding them but one spot is very famous which the Turkish friends call Chardak. No matter what time of the day whether it’s hot or cold you would find a couple swirling on the rocking chair like a pendulum, talking about the same stuff which they talked a million times before. Then you would see couple being humiliated by the security who happen to be around us like we are some kind of criminals. The normal cause of humiliation which the couples have to bear is to be in the lobby after 12:00. You get a few dormitory points cut for every minute extra you are seen over there and if you are seen kissing you get the gazes which are worse than spanking and in addition to that the point cut doubles. So for continuing the love after 12:00 the doors of the dorms close and the windows open. A lot has been done to stop this but the engineers find a way as it is said by a famous anonymous guy “engineers are problem solver”. So, I would like to end by saying my lover friends “Aafiet Olsun” and those who are finding someone special “kolay Gelsin”. These are memories which you would cherish throughout your life as you won’t have anything else to cherish due to your extraordinary work in the field of love. And for all other friends I would like to suggest, “Come out of the nerd world and enter the love fraternity.” As a result, the average (which is normally called curve) comes to normal level and everybody succeeds .This will lead to more love, peace and prosperity.
