Every year brings new adventure and new opportunities. At LOWA, as we enter our 92nd

year of building boots, we are more excited than ever about the future. For 2015, all of

our boots and shoes are 100% handmade in Europe, which gives us great control over

our entire manufacturing cycle to ensure superb quality and fit, the enduring hallmarks

of LOWA.

Product, of course, really drives the business. The new Lady Light with a

GORE-TEX® or a leather-lined option helps fit women with sensitive feet and ankles.

Our new Vantage GTX® is a versatile mid-range hiking boot with a quick break-in period

and is ideal for carrying moderate loads over a variety of terrain. We’re excited about

our expanded line of Innox and Ferrox models, built with our exclusive MONOWRAP®

and Soft-to-Ground (STG®) technologies for light and fast do-it-in-a-day activities.

The legendary Renegade has new variations in colors, trim and outsoles. The Renegade

DLX GTX® Mid models are made with full-grain pebble-finished uppers and gum-rubber

outsoles, and we’re introducing new color-ways in our Renegade GTX® Mid lineup,with

soles color-matched to the upper trim materials for great visual “pop” on the shelf as

well as on the trail (Hey, a little outdoor style can’t hurt!)

A LOWA Signature

We use Polyurethane (PU) on 95% of our midsoles. It’s a terrific shock absorber, rebounds well, will last longer on the trail and offers better comfort. You will get two to five times the performance life compared to molded EVA midsoles. PU, whether we cement it to the boot like on a Backpacking boot or inject it as on an ATC shoe, has very little manufacturing waste and is a much cleaner product to work with.
