Everyone should share our State’s success.

Making life easier for families

Lower power bills

Keeping power bills low has always been a priority

for WA Labor.

Colin Barnett and Brendon Grylls increased power

by 62 per cent. This was a bad decision that is

making life harder for all Western Australians,

particulary families and seniors.

Mark McGowan and WA Labor will make life a little

easier.

WA Labor will abolish the Tariff Equalisation Contribution (TEC) levy.

This will mean power bills will be 7 per cent lower

under Mark McGowan than they would be under

Colin Barnett and Brendon Grylls.

Importantly, WA Labor will ensure that all Western

Australians will continue to pay the same for

electricity, no matter where they live.

Western Australia needs a government that makes

life easier for families, not harder. Our Lower

Power Bills policy will mean the average Western

Australian household will be $111 better off under

WA Labor, giving Western Australian families and

seniors the extra support they need.
