Our working organic farm provides a refreshing environment for successful events with interesting and unusual meeting spaces, beautiful views of the River Dart and deliciously wholesome organic, local food.

As a not-for-profit with a focus on nature conservation, we place a lot of emphasis on environmental sustainability and use renewable energy sources (including our own solar panels and locally sourced wood fuel) and farm grown produce. This is certainly not your typical corporate event space! And our affordable rates make our venue accessible to those who don’t have the corporate budget.

Our newly built learning centre has everything you need to run your meeting or workshop. We’ll throw in the amazing view of the River Dart for free!

Our yurt is a very different story from the usual dreary, stuffy meeting room! It’s set up to provide an inspiring environment for productive meetings and workshops. Set in pretty woodland, and heated with a log fire it creates a motivating experience to help make your event a great success. Ideal for use as a meeting room, workshop space, movement space or treatment room.

Our Event Spaces

We know the importance of keeping people well fed and watered to help fuel their learning and participation, and add to the special Lower Sharpham Farm experience.

The delicious food we serve is mostly organic and/or locally sourced with as much as possible coming from our own farm. And, of course, we are happy to cater for special dietary needs (when booked in advance).

Our farm tea-break room provides a useful add-on to our meeting spaces. It can be used as both a training space and a dining area.

Accommodation

Immerse yourself in the natural environment by sleeping outdoors on our peaceful farm! You’ll wake up to the most spectacular landscape. And you have access to proper flushing toilets, so you don’t have to get too ‘natural’ - unless you want to... Price: £8 pppn Children under 5, free

Earthship Enjoy the unique experience of sleeping in our super eco-friendly earthship. Please contact us for details.

We often have single rooms available in our cosy bunkhouse. Guests share the space with our residential trainees and volunteers.

The farm is set in a beautiful location, perfect for activities such walking, canoeing, painting, and photography as well as visits to friendly village pubs. It’s just 2.5 miles from the bohemian market town of Totnes which has a lovely selection of independent boutiques and cafes.

Booking Terms

A non-refundable deposit (30% of your total fee) is required to secure your booking. Please pay the remainder of your fee 1 week before your event, at the latest. Cancellation policy: If you need to cancel your booking, it would helpful to let us know as soon as possible. Your 30% deposit is not refundable, but any remaining payment will be refunded if you cancel your booking no later than 1 week before the date of your event.
