• No accident so far

• Many non-conformities are encountered, including pre-existing ones

Their management is efficient and implies frequent procedures optimisations and definition of new

procedures ; it is slowing down the progress

• DISMAC is globally progressing according to schedule (about one week ahead of schedule)

• Confident that the global schedule can be respected

• BUT the rate of 10 ICs is not yet achieved sustainably for the consolidation of the diodes insulation

itself ; resources were reallocated

• Updates will be required (impact to be assessed) :WP11 cryoassemblies & Q16L2 and C16L2

removal for beam screens exchange

• DISMAC QA review on 11-12 July 2019

• 19/22 cryomagnets have been removed from the tunnel; they were

disconnected and prepared for transport on time. Priority is put on this,

to avoid co-activity with transport asap.

All will be removed for 24th July-19.

• There is work in 6 sectors in parallel

• The first (A26R8) will be reconnected this week except X-ray and leak

tests. There could be some delay in cryomagnets reconnection but

remaining within the DISMAC time window

• The second cryodipole for BIHL study (C21R6) is under disconnection

• In-situ fit-test of the first flowmeter for BIHL study is about to start

C1B1 Antenna problem

• Detected during the cavity conditioning in 2017: the field level ~10

dB less than expected (wrong tune and coupler position were ruled

out)

• Measuring the transmission between operational and spare antenna

showed indeed 10 dB less signal on C1B1 than on other cavities,

• Since April 2017 the cavity is operated using the spare antenna.

Activities to be performed:

• Opening the side panel and perform RF measurements and validation

• If nothing is detected Leak check

According to leak check : Option 1 there is a leak ACS module removal and swap

Option 2 no leak detected cable reconnection and side panel closing performed

• The LHC Machine is under full cryogenics lockout

• The first big period of LS2 is completed (warm up and tests), the main activities related to consolidation are fully ongoing,

including major overhauling

• DISMAC and the Magnets Exchange Campaign is in progress, in advance wrt the baseline, but still in the learning phase for some

tasks

• Due to and issue in SCX 5, the AUG test @P5 must be rescheduled

• The strategies for RF ball, 16L2, QRL vacuum leak repair and the rescheduling of cryostat connexion in P2 are under discussion
