Induction Units

LTG induction units have been developed further continually since the first patent was registered by founder Dr. Albert Klein for an induction plant in 1915. Air flowing through a nozzle forms a free jet. It inducesthe surrounding air layer along at its edges and thus en-larges the flowing air volume. This „induction“ takes placewithin the induction device. A special construction en-trains room air (secondary air) through a heat exchanger, where it is cooled or heated. Together with the fresh air(primary air) the supply air then returns to the room for acomfortable climate. LTG induction units of the latest generation are energy-efficient and can be operated and demand-controlled withLTG SmartFlow technology

Heating convector for free convection

LTG fan coil units use both radial and cross-flow fans toimplement the best flow and acoustics for different installa-tion situations. Flexible and high-performance. LTG fan convectors with cross-flow technology are charac-terized by a particularly even and large-area flow throughthe heat exchanger. Low pressure loss and low noise levelwith high cooling or heating output. The latest drive technology generation (EC-technology) alsopermits capacity modulation at the lowest electrical energyconsumption.

The LTG System Design

Flexible technology for floor supply systems with a consistent appearance.

Appearance and room effect are essentially deter-mined by the architecture. LTG System Design permits different technical solutions for room air conditioningin different building areas under a visually consistentgrid.

Decentralized Ventilation Units

Decentralized ventilation units offer unique flexibility in combination with high economic efficiency to architects and planners.

All ventilation is provided locally. Both supply air and exhaustare guided across the façade and treated. An integratedhighly efficient heat recuperator minimizes the heat/coldloss and thus ensures low energy costs. Without a centralAHU, decentralized systems offer the only, highly efficientsolution to renovate existing buildings in an energy-efficient manner. Local systems offer an innovative and energy-efficient means for individual, demand-controlled air condi-tioning for new construction projects as well.

LTG Air-Water Systems

LTG drives development in comfort air technology with basic innovation. We are your reliable partner in the system solutions area.

Mixed/displacement ventilation

in an extended comfort zone

The mixed/displacement air flow developed by LTGand assumed into the VDI 3804 permits high coolingoutput at high thermal comfort. It can be implementedin any LTG device type with optimized air distributors. The above chart shows the areas of application of dif-ferent flow forms that are essentially defined by ther-mal comfort. The ideal flow shape for the project-specific parameter cooling output and supply air flowrate can be implemented with different LTG air-water systems then. We perform optimization for specialrequirements within the scope of our engineering ser-vices. Products with mixed/displacement ventilation:HFV, HFG, VFC, VKB, HFB and FVD.

Areas of use of different flow types

The System SmartFlow

Induction technology redefined - demand-oriented air conditioning

The LTG System SmartFlow offers best comfort andenergy consumption even under changing load sta-tions. The ideal flow form is selected depending onrequired cooling output and fresh air volume. For this, the air nozzles are opened and the cold water valvesare controlled. This ensures best comfort, acoustics and energy efficiency for any load case with a singledevice. Manual (different room use) or automatic(occupancy or CO2-controlled) regulation is possible. Incontrast to conventional induction technology, thispermits adjustment of cooling output and fresh airsupply to the specific requirements. Products with theSmartFlow system: HDFsf, HFBsf and HFVsf.

The System Indivent®

Hybrid displacement ventilation

Highest comfort by combination of mixed and dis-placement flow! With LTG induction devices or fan coilunits in combination with our highly inductive LDBlinear diffusers permits sophisticated implementation of this comfortable room flow. Products with the Indivent® system: LHG and LVC. Flow chart for Indivent® system
