What’s Inside the LTK?About the Course:
Students effectively gain more knowledge and confidence in speaking and understanding American English as they progress through the LTK’s five levels.

The LTK system uses 50+ different activities and techniques that are effective in improving individual language skills such as listening, reading, writing, and speaking.
● Level 1: 700 words and 600 short stories.● Level 2: 1000 words and over 800 short stories. ● Level 3: 600 words and 500 short stories.● Level 4: 700 words and over 600 short stories.● Level 5: 700 words and 550 short stories.

Choose different colors for your screen
Choose the speed of the audio
Control the volume of the microphone and the speaker
Decide if you want to repeat the instructions completely or not

Change various program options. Changes are “sticky”- will be saved and applied from that point on.
Choose the language of subtitles
Expert Level, Repeat Level, and Quick Pace control how fast user moves through the lessons

Record your voice:Press and hold the mic icon to record. Release the mouse to stop.

Repeat:Hear the last set of instructions and the associated word or phrase

Comprehensive TestingThe placement test helps you determine a student’s starting point. A progress test checks a student’s progress upon reaching each new level

Test results are broken up by the basic skill-type. A suggested level is also shown.

Word definitions/translationsIf you are having a difficulty remembering the meaning of the given word, just mouse pointer to point on the word and the blue box with question mark will appear.

Click the ? to show the translation and/or definition of the word.
A pop-up will appear. Click outside of the box to close.
Leaving feedbackIf you are experiencing difficulties in the app or find any contextual issues while in a lesson screen, you can send us feedback.

Show Me ReportHover over the vertical bar to see the errors made by the student. Inside each vertical bar is the name of the lesson activity

Move the mouse over each bar to see the student’s mistakes
Placement ReportShows all errors made when taking the LTK Placement Test one or more times. The last line of the report shows the number of errors made, the number of word groups presented, and the assigned lesson.

Summary ReportShows the current lesson and activity level, as well as the date attempted and the time the student has spent on the lesson activities.

Click the Summary button for an updated report on individual performance from Lesson 001 through the current lesson activity.
Details ReportShows the most detailed information on mistakes made.

Click on the Details tab for a specific account of the errors made and the extent of prompting needed.
Progress ReportShows performance by category: lesson number, date completed, time on the computer, total minutes on the program, skills covered by lesson, and where practice is needed. An asterisk is added to one of the report columns if the student might require additional instruction.

Here you can create a new student portal or edit an existing student’s information.
Add New User:Click to add students to the LTK lessons

Can add the same email multiple times by using email alias (plus + before @)
Groups Management

TestingCheck your knowledge by taking a quiz which can be found on the
home screen. It has six questions and you can take it as many times as you want as it changes every time.
Click “Continue” to take the test.
Help Menu
If you are not sure of the functions of the buttons on your screen, you can enable the help menu. When you click on another button, it will show you what the button is for.
Double click either of the three buttons and it will show you the help menu
When the help menu appears, you can click on any part of your screen and it will show you its function

Giving Feedback &
Adding Attachment
If you see something wrong on the screen you can send feedback and specifically point it out by clicking the little blue box
Point out a specific issue you have on the screen.Click the blue square.
Click the issue you want to report.
Type in your explanation or your concern. Then click on Submit Feedback
Yes or No ButtonsThese buttons usually appear when asked if your recording is similar to the sound in the audio. If you click or yes, the lesson will continue, but if you click or no, then you can repeat the recording.

Shows hw assigned to the student in the report
Adding custom homework
then will show the newly created hw
and we will add ability to listen to all recordings user ever made like a report
so this can be part of the coaching
Once hw added for a student and until completed it will be shown in lessons list just like the break test
so it will clear for user what to do
Also if hw is required, then it will block next lesson until hw is completed
