LTMGH & LTMMC Admin Section Flow Document
Admin Link and login details
Admin Home Link : http://www.ltmg.com/ Login.aspx
□ User Name : [email protected]
□ Password : xxxxxxxxx (as provided in the email received by user)
□ User to enter his user Name, Password and click Login to access the admin section.
Forgot Password
□ If user has forgotten his password he will click forgot password and enter his email
id which is used for registration and click login.
□ His login details will be sent to him by mail.
Admin Home page
Admin Home URL: http://www.ltmgh.com/Admin_Home.aspx
□ On login as super admin the user will see the admin functionality links on the left.
Create Admin User / Give Access Rights
□ To add a new user Super admin will enter the users email id.
□ Name of the user.
□ Contact number.
□ Password.
□ On entering these details admin will click on submit and save the user details.
□ Lock and unlock facility provided so that admin can lock the user created as and when
he desires to do so.
□ On clicking on submit the following page (shown below) will open where in the super
admin will assign rights to that user.
□ Super admin will select and click on the check box provided against each section to
assign rights to the user for those respective sections.
□ If Super admin whishes to give rights to all the section to use then he will click on
“Check All” option provided on the left top bar.
□ If the rights have to be to given to user to add / edit / delete the CMS pages then super
admin must click on the check box of CMS Template only then will the user get to view
those pages assigned to him for the CMS tool. The pages to which the user has rights
will be marked (p) which means he has the privileged to that page only.
□ After selecting the section he will click on save privilege.
□ Similarly Super admin will do the same process for the various section listed in the menu
structure for each section. Eg. Print screen copied below. If admin want to give rights to
all the links of the About LTMGH page he will click on the check box besides it on the
blue band or he will have to select each check box besides each link below and then say
save privilege.
□ If Super admin wants to unassign the rights he will simple click on the check box again
and the tick will be removed and he will say save privilege.
□ Super admin can edit/ delete user and modify the privilege at any time
Change Password
□ A user can login and change his password.
□ On submit of change password a mail with new password will go to his registered email
id.
□ Based on the rights given to the user he will be able to do the following in each section
of the site.
Create Menu
□ Only super admin has the right to create menu and submenu links.
□ No links can be added for Menu level 1 (links appearing on the blue band) as the
design will get disturbed. Super admin can only edit the links and change their
priority.
□ Super admin can create submenu up to 4 levels and assign the priority for each
submenu.
□ Once admin has created any menu and he want to assign rights of that menu
created to any user, he will need to go and assign that new menu created for the
user and save privilege.
□ Once the user logs in he will see that new menus created under his right as it will be
marked with a (P) which stand for privilege.
□ He can choose any template for the list of templates available and create that new
page. He can edit / delete that template at any time. The page will be visible when
the template is mapped to the menu. And on delete of the template the link will not
be visible in the front end.
□ But he cannot delete that menu link. Only super admin can delete the link.
Create Link (Header - Footer)
□ Super admin will select type if header link or Footer link form drop down.
□ On selection of type he will give the Link Name in the Text box and give the priority.
□ Super admin can edit/ delete the header footer links like all other menu links
created.
□ The link will be visible in the front end only when it has a template mapped to it
which will be done from the CMS section.
CMS □ HOME Template
The user can do the following on the home template: □ Heading – The text can be edited and changed by admin at any time.
□ Paragraph Text – The text will appear below the heading and can be edited and changed by
the admin.
□ Para Image – The admin can browse and upload another image as related to the text
entered in the Heading and paragraph.
□ More URL - hyper linking can be provided from the text “Read More” to the page related to
the text updated in Heading and Paragraph as mentioned above.
□ Middle Section “Large Image” - The main flash banner can be changed from here. Admin
will browse and call for the new file. Admin can upload following formats
“flv|swf|jpeg|png|bmp|jpg|gif”
□ SEO SECTION – Meta Keywords and Meta Description can be added here for this page of the
website.
CMS Templates section
□ Admin will select the menu for which ever level he wants to add or edit the template and
then select template from the drop down options given.
Content Template: If admin selects Content Template he will see the below template.
□ Admin can upload:
□ Header Image and provide hyperlink to the same which can open in new window or same
browser. He will click on submit to save the header image.
□ Provision to upload Heading for each paragraph given.
□ The text can be added in the editor tool provided. It is best to copy the text on a note pad
before pasting it in the editor tool to avoid junk characters from appearing if copied directly
from word document.
□ By using the editor, the text can be made bold, colour can be provided, bullets can be
inserted etc.
□ A large paragraph image and a small paragraph image can be uploaded using the provision
given. This is not mandatory.
□ A document can be uploaded in a PDF / Word format. This shall appear in the front end at
the end of the paragraph as a Download Icon. On the click of the Download Icon, the
document uploaded will open.
□ After filling the detail for one paragraph the admin will click on Add More to save the
details. Likewise “N” number of paragraphs can be added on a single page with images
large, small and documents if any.
□ Each paragraph upload will appear in a grid below and with a provision to edit or delete the
details.
□ Add banner – in the content template there is a provision to add a banner on the page. This
is not mandatory and if added it will appear in the front end on the space allotted in the
design. A heading, banner, text can be added. Hyper link can be provided to the banner to
open in same window or new window.
□ Add Related Downloads – In the content template on any page if admin whishes to upload
file related to that page he can do so using the upload related link facility provided. Multiple
files can be uploaded. Admin will add the text heading and the text and upload the relevant
file. This will be visible in front end in the provision made. If no file is uploaded this is not
visible in from end. The following formats can be uploaded
“zip|xls|xlsx|ppt|pptx|doc|docx|pdf”.
□ Finally admin will upload the relevant keywords and description of that page and submit the
page. This can be edited at any time
EVENT Template:
If the user selects the event template he will get the below page
□ Admin will fill in the fields as listed for the Event. Fields marked with * are
compulsory fields. First the Event should be added along with the Keywords and
description.
□ He will then add the paragraph text with heading if required.
□ Provision to upload header large and small image given. This is not compulsory.
□ Provision to add banners and related download also given on the events template
page.
□ On the top is the option for the admin to select if he wants to Search an Event and
Edit / Delete the Event.
□ Search Event, here the admin can search for any event by date and heading.
Provision for uploading a Header image is provided. Also, keywords and description
should be added for this page.
□ After an Event is added, the Date, Heading and Header Image shall appear on the
listing page. On the click of the heading, a pop up will open with the details as
uploaded by the admin as mentioned above.
NEWS Template: If the user selects the News template he will get the below page
□ Admin will fill in the fields as listed for the News. Fields marked with * are
compulsory fields. First the Heading, Date should be added along with the Keywords
and description.
□ Provision to add Publication, Header Image, Source URL, Archive date is provided.
This is non mandatory.
□ He will then add the paragraph text with heading if required.
□ Provision to upload header large and small image given. This is not compulsory.
□ Provision to add banners and related download also given on the news template
page.
□ On the top is the option for the admin to select if he wants to View/ Edit/Delete
News. The admin can search the news by heading.
□ Provision for uploading a Header image for News landing page is provided. Also,
keywords and description should be added for this page.
□ After the News is added, the Date, Heading and Header Image shall appear on the
listing page. On the click of the heading, a pop up will open with the details as
uploaded by the admin as mentioned above.
Blank Template: This template is used when the admin wants to skip a link and jump to the
next level in the site structure. This can be done only up to one level.
Eg. In About LTMGH when you click on it, the user is taken to Overview page directly because a
blank template is selected for the link About LTMGH.
Form Template: While mapping the template if the user selects form template he will get a
drop down list besides for mapping the form he want to select.
Eg. In Feedback/ Alumni Registration/Availability for User/ Conference and Workshops /
Career job posting/Fix an appointment/Knowledge Bank is a form which is mapped from the
drop down list on selection. These forms are already coded and only provision to map then
is given in admin. All forms are available in the forms drop down mapping sections.
Hospital Landing Template
□ The links appearing in the LTMG Hospital & LTM Medical College of the website have a
landing page. This page is created using the Landing page template from admin.
□ Admin will add text in the top left heading text box. Also, for Top Left Image, the Admin can
browse and upload an image relevant to the Top left heading.
□ Admin will add text in the top center heading text box. Also, for Top Center Image, the
Admin can browse and upload an image relevant to the Top center heading.
□ Add Links – The admin can then add the links related to the respective titles added in the
Top Left Image and Top Center Image.
He will first have to select the Link Section i.e.
- Top Left Section to add links under the Top Left Image or
- Top Center Section to add links under the Top Center Image
□ Then the admin should add the heading and URL for the respective headings which can
open in a new or same window.
□ Top Right Image – This is a banner place holder. Admin can upload a banner and hyperlink it
to a page which can open in a new or same window.
□ Top Right2 Image – This is a banner place holder. Admin can upload a banner and hyperlink
it to a page which can open in a new or same window.
□ The admin can add text in Bottom Right Heading, text and Hyperlink to a page which can
open in a new or same window. for eg: The heading Doctors Availability added on Hospital
Landing page along with text and hyperlinked to a page.
□ Opinion URL – This shall be linked to the Opinion Poll Pop up.
□ Keyword and description can be updated in the SEO section
□ Provision to upload Banners is given on the Hospital Landing Page
□ The Landing pages can be edited or deleted
College Landing Template
□ The links appearing in the LTMG Hospital & LTM Medical College of the website have a
landing page. This page is created using the Landing page template from admin.
□ Admin will add text in the top left heading text box. Also, for Top Left Image, the Admin can
browse and upload an image relevant to the Top left heading.
□ Admin will add text in the top center heading text box. Also, for Top Center Image, the
Admin can browse and upload an image relevant to the Top center heading.
□ Add Links – The admin can then add the links related to the respective titles added in the
Top Left Image and Top Center Image.
The admin will first have to select the Link Section i.e.
- Top Left Section to add links under the Top Left Image or
- Top Center Section to add links under the Top Center Image
□ Then the admin should add the heading and URL for the respective headings which can
open in a new or same window.
□ Top Right1 Image – This is a banner place holder. Admin can upload a banner and hyperlink
it to a page which can open in a new or same window.
□ Top Right2 Image – This is a banner place holder. Admin can upload a banner and hyperlink
it to a page which can open in a new or same window.
□ The admin can add text in Bottom Right Heading, text and Hyperlink to a page which can
open in a new or same window. for eg: The heading Doctors Availability added on Hospital
Landing page along with text and hyperlinked to a page
□ Facilities URL – This shall be linked to the Facilities page.
□ Keyword and description can be updated in the SEO section
□ Provision to upload Banners is given on the Hospital Landing Page
□ The Landing pages can be edited or deleted
Useful Link Template – the below page will be visible to admin
□ In the Useful Links Template. First the admin will have to add a Category. After adding the
category, the links associated to the category can be added.
□ Also, provision to add Header Image for this page is given. The admin can browse and
upload a Header Image.
□ Keyword and description can be updated in the SEO section.
□ The Add Link Screen will be as given above. The admin will select the Category as added in
the above point.
□ Description of the Link and add the URL of the website.
□ On Submitting the record, the Category will be displayed and the records inside that
category will be displayed with a Read More option. On clicking Read more, the link
provided in the URL text box will open in a new window.
□ Provision to Search the links is given in the Admin section. The admin can search the links by
Category and URL and click on Search.
Photo Gallery Template – the below page will be visible to admin
□ On the top header there is option to add category. On clicking this he will get a page by
which the Admin can add / edit / delete category and upload the header image for the
photo gallery page.
□ He will then add the subcategory by clicking on the top header subcategory link. He will get
a form where in he will select the category and add subcategory. He can edit / delete the
subcategory too. Subcategory is not mandatory.
□ Add Photo gallery – when admin clicks on this option he will get the above screen.
□ Admin will select category and then subcategory (if added) and add the caption of the
image (title of the image), he will add the description and upload the relevant image.
Priority of the images can be set incase if sequence of the images is to be changed. While
adding the Image the Priority is to be set in numbers (e.g.: 1, 2 , 3 etc) .
□ On clicking save the record will be saved and displayed in the front end of the website under
the respective category
Add DMS Template – If the user selects the DMS template he will get the below page
□ Admin will fill in the fields as listed for DMS. Fields marked with * are compulsory fields.
□ The admin can add date, title, contributors, description, source, book edition, archive date
and browse and upload a file.
□ Provision to upload header image is provided along with the Keywords and description.
□ The admin can View / Edit DMS, as mentioned in the right tab of the above screen. Here,
one can search the entries uploaded by Title, From Date, To Date. Provision to edit / delete
the records is also given.
Footer Page Content Template– The already created menu from the create link for footer
provision can be mapped from this link. The option to select if Link , form or content is
provided.
□ Admin will select the name of the page which is already created and then select from the
option Link, Form or content.
□ The rest of the process is the same as done on selection of any of the template options.
Video Gallery:
□ The admin will be able to add the video gallery with the fields provided above. □ The Title, thumbnail image and Upload file is mandatory. Also, the Admin can either upload
the file from this interface or alternatively upload the file on YOU TUBE and give the URL of You Tube here.
□ Meta Keywords & Description will also be mandatory.
Master – Organisation
□ The admin can add Organisation. For Eg: LTMGH and LTMMC as two organisations. He can
add the Phone no, Address, email id, webmail and remarks.
□ The admin can also search through Organisation Name. Also, a provision to edit / delete is
provided.
Master - Department
□ The admin can add department name and respective HOD. This data is populated in the Add
/ Delete Doctor Master, Fix an Appointment and Doctor’s Availability form.
□ The admin can also search through Department Name and HOD. Also, a provision to edit /
delete is provided.
Master – Designation
□ The admin can add designation. This data is populated in the Add Doctor section.
□ The admin can also search through Designation. Also, a provision to edit / delete is
provided.
Functionality – Delete / Approve Alumni
□ An Alumni Registration form is provided in the College Section in the front end. □ After the User fills in the form, it will be saved in database and will be visible in the Delete /
Approve Alumni as in the above screen. □ To check the authenticity of the User, the admin can check the details by clicking on the
Name of the User as given below.
□ The admin can view the details and wish to Approve or Disapprove the User by clicking
on the Approve or Disapprove button. □ Once, the User is approved, he /she will receive a mail with the User name and
password to access the facilities provided for Alumni as given below.
□ After entering the detail, the below screen would appear
□ Manage Profile - If the Alumni wish to change his / her details. This can be done through
the Manage Profile link. □ Change Password –The Alumni can change his/ her password. On changing the
password, a mail will be sent to the Alumni with the New password. □ Discussion Forum – The Alumni can take part in the discussion with other Alumni. He
can add topics and reply to the posts as given below under any category. The alumni can identify the User who has posted a topic or reply along with the creation date.
□ The Category can be added only by the admin which will be visible in the drop down.
□ Find a batch mate – The Alumni can connect with his / her batch mates by selecting Year of
Passing, Name, Surname, Profession and City and then entering the respective values in the text box as given in the screen below.
□ Facebook group – A hyperlink to the LTMGH Facebook link will provided. □ Blog – A hyperlink to the LTMGH Blog will be provided.
Functionality - Add / Delete Doctor □ The admin can add the Doctor by selecting his / her department. The Department drop
down is populated with the Department added in the Master as mentioned above. □ The Name, Email Id can be added. The designation can be selected from the Designation
drop down, this is populated with the Designations added in the Designation Master. □ After adding the Doctor, the same shall be displayed in the Fix and appointment and Doctors
availability form. □ Also, the respective doctor will receive Username and Password to access the Doctor’s
Availability section from the front end as given in the screen below.
Doctor’s Availability: In the Doctor’s Availability section the Department, Designation and
Name of the Doctor appears as entered in the admin, as mentioned above. □ The Doctor can then add the dates on which he / she are not available as given in the
screen below. Also, the Doctor can mark the dates he / she is not available for an entire year.
□ Incase, the doctor has entered the dates wrongly, the same can be deleted as in the above
screen. □ Change Password: A provision to change password is provided. After the password is
changed, a mail will be sent to the Doctor with the Password.
Functionality - Speciality and Subject □ Speciality: The admin can add the Speciality for the Knowledge Bank. Also, a provision to
search the Speciality is provided as given in the screen below.
□ Subject: The admin can add the Subject for the Knowledge Bank. Also, a provision to
search the Subject is provided as given in the screen below.
Functionality – Knowledge Bank:
- The admin can add the knowledge bank from the screen below.
□ The admin can select Specialty and Subject from the Masters as given above. □ To add the questions, the admin will add first have to add the heading. The questions
and answers can then be added under the heading. □ The 4 options for Answers can be added and then the Correct Answer is to be
selected. If the Correct Answer is inserted in A, B, C or D. Then click on Add more questions to save the question.
□ The admin also has a facility to upload and image which will appear on the Knowledge bank page.
□ A provision to make the quiz active or inactive is given. □ After the details have been inserted, the Quiz has to be submitted by clicking on
Submit Button. □ A provision to Search is given from the above tab. The search can be done by Specialty
and Subject. The Quiz can be edited / deleted.
Functionality - Conference & Workshops
□ The admin can add Conferences from this section as given in the screen below.
□ The conference details can be added by selecting from and to date. The fields marked as mandatory are to be added.
□ If there are any files to be uploaded, the same can be done through the Upload files section and its relevant caption can be added. For e.g. Speaker profile for a conference can be uploaded as a PDF/ DOC and their name of the Speaker to be added in Caption.
□ A provision to add the Keywords and Description of the Conference is given. □ The admin can also, edit/ delete a Conference.
Functionality - Opinion Poll
- The admin can add Opinion Poll questions from this section, as given in the screen below.
□ The questions and the answers can be added. □ The admin can make the Poll active or inactive. When active, it will be visible in the front
end. □ A search is provided in the above tab, to search the polls added. Also the questions can be
edited / deleted from here. □ View Summary: The admin can view the summary of results of the opinion poll added from
the “View Summary” tab as given in the screen below.
□ The admin can click on view and check, the percentage of results for each of the answers
posted under a question in the Opinion poll.
Functionality – Discussion Forum □ The admin has the facility to add the category for a Discussion Forum. The rights to add a
category is only provided to the admin. □ A search is provided to search the category, also the category can be edited / deleted from
this section as given in the screen below.
□ The discussion forum facility is provided for the Alumni. The topics and threads added by
the Alumni can be edited / deleted from the admin section as given in the screen above in the Edit/ Delete Topic and Edit/Delete Thread respectively.
Functionality - View Feedback □ The feedback is posted by the Users from the front end and a mail is sent to the LTMGH
feedback mail id: [email protected]. It is also stored in the database and available in the admin section as in the screen below.
□ To view the User’s feedback, the admin can click on the name of the User. □ A provision to delete the feedback is also provided.
Functionality – Careers Module: Job posting can be done using this interface. Admin will
first create the function master and then add the job posting
- Add Career Function
□ Admin will add the function name in the text box provided and then select the status of
that function if active or inactive. Only if active then that function will be visible in the
front view of the website.
□ The function name can be edited or deleted at any time from the admin.
□ The status of each function can be modified by admin at any time.
- Add / Edit Job post
□ Once the admin has created the function name he can now add jobs.
□ Admin will click on Post career Job and on that page he has an option on the top to
search Job posted or Add/ edit Job.
□ To add a new posting admin will click on add job and fill the form fields. The one marked
with an * are mandatory and the rest optional.
□ Based on the requirement admin will enter the details and on submit this record will be
visible in the front end of the site.
□ A provision to upload application form is provided.
□ Admin can set the date of the expiry until when that job should be visible in the front
end of the site for the users to apply. Post expiry that job should not be visible on the
website.
□ Admin can search by function and edit / delete the job postings at any time.
□ In the front end the job posting will be visible with the recent record on the top and post
expiry that job will not be visible for the user to apply in the front end. But it will be
visible in admin.
□ The Users will only be able to view the Job details added by the admin. Rest of the
process of recruitment will be carried out offline.
Hospital Newsletter and College Newsletter
□ The admin can select the news that needs to be sent in the Newsletter to the Subscribers.
□ He can select on the check box from the listed news articles uploaded and click on create
newsletter button.
□ Admin can preview the newsletter by clicking on Preview button, which will open in a new
browser before sending it to all the subscribers.
□ Once admin has seen the preview he can click send newsletter to subscribers which will
goes as an email to all the users.
View Newsletter subscriber list – Under this link the admin can only view the
subscribers who have added their email id for the “subscribe to newsletter” option in
the front view of the website.
- Admin can search by email id and see the total number of subscribers.
- Admin can select the one’s he wants to delete by clicking on the check box and
delete that subscriber.
- If user has clicked on unsubscribe in the newsletter, he will then not receive the
newsletters.
