Senior Circle Members,
Happy New Year! I hope all of
you had a terrific holiday
season with your friends and
family. Welcome to the new
year! This year will bring new
doctors to the area, new
activities and new trips! As
many of you know, our Senior Circle mission is
to keep the seniors in our community active and
healthy. As we start the new year, I would like
everyone to think of ways that they can
improve their health and mind. The important
thing is to stay ACTIVE and HEALTHY!
I would like to take this time to remind
everyone about our activity signups and
cancellations. It is important that everyone
realizes that you must RSVP for all events,
even member meetings and free activities. If
the activity requires payment, you must submit
payment at the time of signup. If you find that
you cannot attend an activity that you have
signed up for, you must call and cancel. This
allows us to adjust food counts and possibly fill
your spot. It is also important to remember
that all paid activities are typically
non-refundable, even in emergency situations.
I encourage you to contact our office if you
have any questions. As always, thank you for
being in our circle. Let’s have an awesome 2017!

January 20: Mr. Church: When a dying mother and her little girl engage the talented cook Henry Joseph Church, a six-
month arrangement extends into a fifteen year one. Mr. Church willingly accepts the responsibility of being the sole bread
winner, chef, and teacher of the arts, supporting Charlotte and her mother while creating a genuine loving environment as a
member of this unlikely family. Based on a true story. Starring Eddie Murphy. Rated PG-13.
February 10: Me Before You: Louisa "Lou" Clark lives in a quaint town in the English countryside. With no clear direction
in her life, the quirky and creative 26-year-old goes from one job to the next in order to help her tight-knit family make
ends meet. Her normally cheery outlook is put to the test, however, when she faces her newest career challenge. Taking a
job at the local "castle," she becomes caregiver and companion to Will Traynor, a wealthy young banker who became wheel-
chair bound in an accident two years prior, and whose whole world changed dramatically in the blink of an eye. No longer the
adventurous soul he once was, the now cynical Will has all but given up. That is until Lou determines to show him that life is
worth living. Embarking together on a series of adventures, both Lou and Will get more than they bargained for, and find
their lives—and hearts—changing in ways neither one could have imagined. Rated PG-13.
March 10: Sully: On January 15, 2009, the world witnessed the "Miracle on the Hudson" when Captain "Sully"
Sullenberger glided his disabled plane onto the frigid waters of the Hudson River, saving the lives of all 155 aboard.
However, even as Sully was being heralded by the public and the media for his unprecedented feat of aviation skill, an
investigation was unfolding that threatened to destroy his reputation and his career. Starring Tom Hanks. Rated PG-13.
