INSTALLATION1. Installthelightingfixtureonapolewithanouterdiameterof:
• 101mm(4in)fortheLX25andLX50(roundorsquaresleeveisavailableforLX25,LX50);• 127mm(5in)LX95(squaresleeveonlyontheLX95);
2. Slidethelightingfixtureontopofthepole;3. Usethe1/4”-20bolttosecuretheluminairetothepole,choosethedrillingpatternaccordingtoyourmodel
(LX25-50orLX95);4. Oncethelightisinplace,openthebatteryboxdoorandinsertthebattery.Thebatteryisstandingupforthe
LX95.ThebatteryislyingonitssidefortheLX25andLX50asshowninthefiguresbelow;5. Makeaquickconnectionwiththequickconnectcable;6. Agreenindicatorlightindicatesthattheluminaireisfunctionnal.7. Closethebatteryboxdoor,theinstallationisnowcomplete.

1.2STORAGEANDHANDLING:Ifyouwishtostoretheluminaire,thebatteryneedstoberechargedbeforestor-ingforaperiodof15daysormoreinordertopreventdamagetothebattery.Theluminairemustbestoredat20°Croomtemperature.Theluminaireshouldneverbemanipulatedwhenthebatteryisinside.Usethequickaccessdoortoremovethebatterybeforehandling.1.3DEEPDISCHARGEPROTECTIONThisprotectionsignificantly increasesbattery lifespan.Thisprotectionalsopre-ventspermanentdamagetothebatterycausedbyverydeepdischargesduringcoldweather.Whenthebatteryreachesa50%stateofcharge,thebatteryisautomaticallydisconnectedfromthesystemuntilit’sstateofchargereach-es85%i.e.about1dayofsunshineinsummerandabout4daysofsunshineinwinter.1.4PIRSENSORTIMEDELAYFEATUREADJUSTMENTPleasebecareful,thetimedelaytrimpotisafragilecomponent.TheTimeDelay(30secondsto30minutes)adjustmenttrimpotislocatedunderthelensassembly.Thetrimpotisaccessedeasily.Gentlyunscrewthelensas-sembly.Donotremovethethumbscrewcollar;itholdsthesensorinplaceonthefixture. Setthetimedelaytothedesiredsetting.Thetimedelaycanbesetfrom30seconds(fullycounterclockwise) to30minutes(fullyclockwise).Werecom-mendnottogoover5minutes.Thetimedelaystartswhennomorepresenceisdetected.1.5DAY-NIGHTTRANSITIONThefixtureusesthesolarpaneltodetectdayandnightperiods.Thenighttransi-tionrequiresaverylowbrightnesslevelfor5continuousminutes.Thisconstraintpreventsfalsenighttransitions.Avoidexposingtheluminairetoanartificiallightsourcethatmaycausesynchronizationerrorsbysimulatingtheday.Ifthefixtureoperates erratically,make sure the solarmodule is not coveredwith debris orheavysnow.Theluminaireautomaticallycorrectssynchronizationerrorsafter24hours.Theoccupancysensorhasitsownphotocell,whichdoesnotactivatewhentheambientbrightnessistoohigh.
