Hope you and your family members are all well and keeping safe during this difficult time of COVID 19 pandemic. As already communicated to all, the IKG Punjab Technical University has issued revised academic calendar for the academic year 2019-2020 and 2020-2021. All are hereby informed that they must ensure to have proper digital devices or Laptops with internet connectivity for taking up the online examinations (both theory and external including practicals/projects/Dissertation/ viva voce etc.) to be conducted by the university. The details are given below: - S No ACTIVITY Dates of examination 1 External Practical’s / Training Examinations through Online or digital mode i.e. Skype, Video Conferencing, or other meeting apps (Examination schedule attached) 16 June 2020 to 30-06-2020 2 Conduct of Examinations: a. University Examination of final semester for all Courses to be conducted online on the portal prescribed by the university. (Questions would be multiple choice Questions.) (Date-sheet would be shared on receipt from IKG PTU) b. Testing and trail would be conducted by the university shortly. 01 July 2020 To 15 July 2020

My Dear Students,

Greetings!! Hope you and your family members are all well and keeping safe during this

difficult time of COVID 19 pandemic.

As already communicated to all, the IKG Punjab Technical University has issued revised academic calendar for the academic year 2019-2020 and 2020-2021. Institutional Training (after 2nd Semester)

a. Training by Online mode. b. Students can earn

equivalent credits using MOOC/NPTEL courses(list of courses shard from time to time)

c. Online certification courses of 4-6weeks relevant to the course of study

Industrial Training (after 4th Semester)

Commencement of Classes (Odd semester AY 2020-2021) (i) Students of 2nd/3rd year AY 2020-2021. (01

Aug 2020) (ii) Fresh batch (First Semester/Year) (01 Sept

2020)

New Academic Year 2020-

2021

Transition Plan

May 18, 2020 to May 31, 2020 (Lockdown 4.0)

Interaction with students on Skype/ Google hangout/ Google classroom etc. for doubt

clearing session.

MST 2 examinations would be conducted online between 20 May 2020 and 31 May 2020

by Google classroom or by any other suitable apps. (Detailed schedule is already shared).

MST2 would be multiple choice questions strictly.
