EIS is aware that in highly competitive market conditions, maintenance resources should be invested wisely to yield maximum return or benefit. Industry experience shows that the best way to achieve this goal is by building risk-based inspection (RBI) strategies for each piece of equipment.

RBI strategies mitigate unacceptable risks (safety, environmental, regulatory, financial, etc.) by reducing the probability of failure. The tasks are selected based on risk assessments and assure the most cost-effective maintenance of the units.

Our primary objective is for our clients to achieve high levels of plant availability with optimum maintenance costs, while complying with regulations and minimizing safety and environmental risks. Our engineers have an average of 27

years experience in this industry and are particularly skillful in:

• Training on the strategy development procedure for plant personnel.

• Identification of equipment and component failure modes and degradation mechanisms, following API Recommended Practice 580, Risk Based Inspection.

• Assessment of risks for continued operation of the equipment following API 579 Fitness for Service.

• Evaluation of the most cost-effective tasks to mitigate unacceptable risks.
