Airport tenants Justin Gillen and Elliot Seguin participated in the Reno National Championship

Air Races in September. This was Justin Gillen’s first time racing. He flew long time airport

tenant Rick Poe’s Cassutt. He was there to finish a racing propeller test program, the bulk of

which was completed here in Mojave. Gillen had an excellent week, including placing 2nd in the

Formula One Silver event.

Elliot Seguin of Wasabi Air Racing had an amazing week as well. At 242 MPH, he flew faster than

ever, thanks to some motor work from Lycon Aircraft Engines. He also finished higher than

ever placing in 3rd place all week.

Congratulations to Justin and Elliot, and thanks for representing Mojave so well!
