Digital Media and Design Degree Options

• Associate of Applied Science (AAS) Degree: Graduates are prepared as multimedia and web design technicians with broad-based, entry-level media and communications skills. The programs’ leading-edge courses prepare students to be competitive and job-ready in a number of settings. Examples include video and media productions; graphic, web, and mobile app design; mobile game development; and website design and development.

The ProgramOur Digital Media and Design Program prepares students for some of the most in-demand jobs and market opportunities that exist for college graduates. Rigorous classroom training coupled with employer-based work experiences provide students the computer technology and media production skills they need to be competitive for job placement, or self employment opportunities.

The program includes 90+ credit hours in the following areas of practice: mobile app development, video game design, photography/Adobe Photoshop, video creation and post-production, graphic design/Adobe Illustrator, website design, 2D and 3D animation in Augmented Reality (AR), and social media marketing. Industry certifications are available for students to earn professional awards in Adobe Suite programs, as well as Certified Internet Web Professional (CIW) industry specific awards.
