Back to school expenses are an additional burden for families living at and below the poverty line. Once again, the St. Vincent DePaul Society is sponsoring a School Backpack Program, in anticipation of the 2017-18 school year. Tables will be set up at the entrance doors of the church Sun., July 23 & 30 to accept donations of new backpacks and school supplies. Vincentians will distribute the backpacks to families with school age children we have met during the past year in our visits responding to the needs of these neighbors. Thanks to the generosity of All Saints parishioners last year, we were able to assist well over 100 children to begin their school year fully supplied for a fresh start.

You are in the spirit, since the Spirit of God dwells in you. Is the Holy Spirit leading you or someone you know to serve Christ and his Church as a priest or in the consecrated life? If you are discerning your vocation, contact Father J.D. Jaffe (703-841-2514 or [email protected]).

If you are away for vacation or on a work-related trip, you can still stay in touch with All Saints via the online Sunday bulletin posted on our parish website at www.allSaintSva.Org .
