M.A / M.Com (PREVIOUS )INSTRUCTIONGuidelines for Submission of Internal Assignments:

1. There are FIVE Courses in M.A/M.Com Previous. Three Internal Assignment Questions are givenunder each Course. Students are required to submit two written Assignment in each Course whichcarries 20 (2x10) Marks. Students are also informed to write each Course assignment on separatesheets, tag them together and put them in one cover and send it.

2. Students should write the correct and complete enrollment number, name in full, address, course and thedate of submission at the top of the first page of each assignment.

3. Students shall submit written Internal Assignments in the year of admission only. If they fail to submitwritten Internal Assignments in the year of admission, they will be loosing 20 marks allotted for eachCourse assignment once and for all. No correspondance will be entertained in this regard.

The written assignment should be complete in all respects. The student should ensure that he/she haswritten all the five Course assignments before submitting to the Chairperson of the concerned Department.The student should use only fullscap size paper for writing. Assignments should be written on only one side ofthe paper. Assignments should be written in one’s own handwriting and should not be printed ortyped. Student should always substantiate the answer with reference books and textual details.

1. The University has the right to entertain or reject the written assignments submitted after the due date.The student is, therefore, advised in his/her own interest to submit all the five written assignments to theconcerned Chairperson of the Department on or before March 31, 2014.

2. The student should retain the photo copy of each of the Assignments submitted for his/herown record.

3. Student should keep the acknowledgement for having sent/submitted all the five written assignments tothe Chairperson, Department of Studies and Research, Karnataka State Open University,Manasagangotri, Mysore-570 006.

4. Assignments once submitted cannot be re-submitted for improvement of marks and are not subject tore-evaluation.

5. In case answers to a particular assignment are found to be identical with the answers of some otherstudents, then such assignments will not be evaluated.
