Gramdaiwat Shri Kasba Ganapati - Mana cha pahila (1st) Ganapati.
The Ganesh idol was found near the house of Shri Vinayak Thakar in 1639AD.
Smt. Jijabai Bhosale and Chhatrapati Shivaji founded the temple of Kasba Ganapati.
Shri Tambdi Jogeshwari Ganesh Mandal - Mana cha dusra (2nd) Ganapati.
Tambdi Jogeshwari Goddess is regarded as swayambhu and the temple was built by Shri. Trimak Bendre in 1545 AD. Treated as Gram Daiwat of Pune.
Unique tradition followed by this mandal – mostly women devotees participate in the procession since the era of Peshwas and it is still continued…
Guruji Talim Mandal – Mana cha Tisra (3rd) Ganapati
Mandal is regarded as the first mandal in the city to spread the message of communal harmony, established in 1887. The Mandal derives its name from wrestling pit & gym.
Started by 2 Hindu and 2 Muslim families, this mandal holds the rare distinction of being pioneer in celebrating Sarvajanik Ganeshotav way before Lokmanya Tilak started tradition in 1883.

There are 2 thoughts how the place got its name - according to folklore, Lord Ganesha offended by a remark left Gule, his original place, and reached Pule.
Another school of thought believes the town got its name from the white sand (Pule in Marathi) from which the idol of Ganesha came to be formed. Hence the place came to be known as Ganpatipule.
