BUSINESS UNIT HEADS

Jon Goodrich is currently President of the Personal Defense subsidiary of Mace Security

International, Inc. This business unit, located in Bennington, VT, is the leading manufacturer

of tear gas and pepper sprays for the civilian market. Mr. Goodrich is the founder and the

previous President, CEO, and Chairman of the Board of Mace Security International and was

instrumental in taking the company from a private corporation to a public corporation. In

earlier years, Mr. Goodrich, with his then partner, Robert Gould, acquired the leather division

from Smith & Wesson and renamed it Gould & Goodrich Leather. This company continues to

produce leather holsters, belts and accessories for the law enforcement market. Mr. Goodrich

has over thirty years of business experience with the last twenty serving the civilian personal

security and the law enforcement markets. Jon holds a BA degree in Business from St. Law-

rence University, Canton, NY. He is married and lives with his wife, Jan, in Bennington, VT. He

has five children, two step-sons, and seven grandchildren.

George Martinez is the Vice President and General Manager at Mace Security Products. George

brings strategic focus and direction to the Mace product lines through his experience in

security technology integration. He was formerly at GE Security, where he most recently

served as a senior member of the Access & ISP Product Management team. At GE, his focus

was on software based integrated security platforms for access, video, and intrusion. George

has over 15 years of experience encompassing technical support, international sales, opera-

tions, marketing, and product line management of a broad range of security technologies for

organizations such as GE Security, Inc., SLC Technologies, Inc.(Interlogix), and CASI-RUSCO,

Inc. George holds an A.S. degree in Electronics & Computer Technology from DeVry University,

Atlanta, Georgia.

Morgan is a keystone resource defining technical requirements to vendors and to the

CORPORATE OFFICERS

Dennis Raefield is Mace’s CEO and President. He has served as a director of the Company since

October 16, 2007. From April 2007 to August 2008, Mr. Raefield has been the President of

Reach Systems, Inc. (a manufacturer of security access control systems). From February 2005

to February 2006, Mr. Raefield was President of Rosslare Security Products, Inc. (a manufa-

cturer of diverse security products). From February 2004 to February 2005, Mr. Raefield was

President of NexVision Consulting (security business consultant). From January 2003 to

February 2004, Mr. Raefield was President of Ortega InfoSystems (a software developer). From

October 1998 to November 2002, Mr. Raefield was President of Ademco and Honeywell Access

Systems (a division of Honeywell, Inc. that manufactured access control systems).

Company. Mr. Krzemien has been with Mace since 1999. From August 1992 through December

From October 1988 to August 1992, Mr. Krzemien was a senior audit manager with Ernst &

Young LLP, and he held other positions with that firm since 1981. Mr. Krzemien earned his B.S.

Mace Central StationMace Central Station (Mace CS) is based in

Anaheim, CA. The central station, which

Mace acquired in 2009, has been providing

high-quality wholesale UL central station

monitoring nationwide since 1978, and contin-

ues to achieve the highest quality standards

in the business. With its world class security

services, many security professionals rely

on Mace Central Station for solutions in

today’s market.

The central station currently monitors ap-

proximately 62,000 end user accounts on

behalf of around 460 dealer clients across

the United States. Mace CS is equipped with

the latest in video monitoring technology and

has redundant systems with off-site disaster

recovery. Mace CS also uses the most ad-

vanced automation software available in the

industry—“Stages” by SGS.

The central station is operational 24/7 as

Mace operators monitor accounts around

the clock for several different platforms,

providing a multitude of services for varying

tion requires remote guard services, remote

access control or remote video monitoring,

Mace has been a leading manufacturer in the security industry since the 1980s. It first attracted

attention during the early 1990s for its manufacture of the less-than-lethal defense spray

Mace. Although most of the general public probably still identifies the company with its brand

domination in the pepper spray industry, Mace is now a diversified company within

the security industry.

Within the past 10 years Mace has added an electronic security surveillance company

to its portfolio along with a national UL listed wholesale central monitoring station

that monitors approximately 62,000 end user accounts on behalf of approximately

460 dealer clients.

In the current environment, Mace is aware of the importance of security around

the world. Mace plans to continue developing and marketing cutting-edge security

products and services aimed at allowing its customers to improve their safety

CORPORATE CHRONOLOGY

Mace formed an alliance with Shipboard Defense Systems, Inc. to develop The Shipboard Defense System (“SDS”), a defensive on-board pepper spray system to repel pirates.

Mace completes the first planned expansion of its Central Station (Mace CS) with the acquisition of The Command Center, Inc. (TCCI).

Mace central station partners with RSI technologies to become a Value-added Reseller for Videofied™ video alarm system.

Mace was founded by Allan Litman, Founder and Co-owner of a Pennsylvania Ordinance Equipment Company, after his wife was threatened on the street.

Mace purchased Federal Laboratories, the largest tear gas manufacturer in the world.

A pepper spray is a non-lethal defense spray that is used both by civilians for self-defense and defense against animal attacks, and by law enforcement for riot and crowd control. In its most basic form it’s an aerosol spray with hot pepper extract. Pepper sprays are also less commonly known as OC Spray, where OC stands for Oleoresin Capsicum. OC is a derivative of hot cayenne peppers.

WHAT IS PEPPER SPRAY? HOW DOES IT AFFECT THE ATTACKER? HOW FAR CAN I SPRAY?Eyes: Eyes start to water as the capillaries swell up and become red with an extreme burning sensation.

Skin: Inflammatory agents cause the attacker to ex-perience an excruciating burning sensation on the affected area. The irritants can cause the skin can swell up and become red.

Breathing: Pepper spray causes extreme coughing, gagging and wheezing and a burning sensation in the throat, which can cause difficulty breathing. Various pepper spray formulas have different spray distances.
