Construction features

1 Through meticolous attention to design and engineering, andthrough the employment of cutting-edge testing equipment,we have achieved customised three-dimensional balancingof our equipment.This has virtually eliminated harmonics, which was previouslya frequent cause of problems.

2 The strong, compact structure of our vibratory equipmentis fabricated in quality certified steel using an advancedelectro welding process. For greater reliability, thestructure is normalised through heat treatment followedby sandblasting and painting, performed using the bestpossible protection and the most up-to-date anti-pollutiontechniques.

3 The monolithic tank, without a sump or screws, is linedwith a thick layer of scratch-proof, oil-proof and anti-stickpolyurethane. Lower outlet to enable rapid replacementof inserts, with block-proof polyurethane plug.Ball valve for water drain; connection for second drainwith manual or automatic valve.Manifold with capillary holes for washing and rinsingfinished product.

4 The flat groove is the primary condition for obtaining anoptimum finish and an improved production output.

5 Separation of parts from media is accomplished automatically,using either magnetic extractors (see accessories on page 10)or a pneumatic unloader or by component surfacing.

6 Moto-Vibrator : The "heart" of the machine is well oversizedand requires no scheduled maintenance or regular greasing.

7 Vibration control, thanks to the most versatile and universalsystem allows the choice of either manual or automaticoperation for rapid and perfect results.

8 Three-dimensional balancing and adjustment of the machinedelivers continuous and correct adherence of the abrasiveinserts to the pieces being processed, preventing harshmovements which cause pitting and hardening of the surfaces.The result is an optimum fine smoothing, micro-finishingand polishing process.

In order to control costs as well as maintain highquality standards in their finishing departments,an increasing number of companies have adoptedvibratory finishing to fulfill their specialisedrequirements.

The SM and SP series of vibrators are theresult of the most technologically advancedmachining and construction techniques. They allow modular automatic “work stations” tobe created, enabling the most complex processcycles to be completed in the most rational manner(see the station on the cover).

Distinguishing features of a continuous evolution: the strong points of Nicem vibrators

A very versatile machine with regard to options and choice ofoperating modes, adaptable to any type of working with highquality finish:- this machine does not transmit any vibration to the base, and

therefore to the ground; whatsoever does not need any flooranchors, thanks to its special design.

- Monolithic tank (without sump or screws) with thick,scratch-proof, oil-proof polyurethane lining with anti-stickgrooves.

- New abrasive insert/water (main) drain plug with specialanti-blocking system.

- Water drain hole positioned lower than the groove; suitablefor ball valve (manual) or pneumatic servo-controlledautomatic valve.

- Easy to clean water drain plug/filter.- The SM and SP vibrator series are completely flat and as such

have the greatest capacity of the circular VIB family, havingthe highest output/productivity ratio.The flat groove does not have any obstacles along its routeand consequently guarantees the best quality finish.

- They are manual machines but can be automated completely(see cover photo) with magnetic extractors, with the applicationof the pneumatic unloader and the help of transport belts andvibrating screens, as well as a battery of vibrators, vibratingdryers, or a machine with a tunnel, Archimedian screw, ormat to wash or dry. There is therefore no need for the presence of an operatorduring the processing, separation, and unloading phases.

- The machines can be programmed from an automatic controlpanel. Used together with the ASC dryer, means that the process canbe completed without the presence of any personnel.

VIBRATING SCREENSVibrating separation screens for separating finished pieces fromgranules or abrasive products used in the vibro-finishing cycle.They can be used together with SM and SP Series vibrators.Steel or PVC separation grids with light between holes andthe diameter of the holes upon requests. There are two types of separation. In semi-automatic plants, theclarification of the water is obtainedby adding a de-emulsifying-adsorbentproduct that causes the formation offlocculi which adsorb the majorpart of impurities in the water.

The purifying process is basedon the clarification of the watervia flocculation and decantationprocess.
