Rehearsals are well underway for the upper
school musical Mack and Mabel. Mack and
Mabel is based on the real-life story of Mack
Sennett, the “King Of Comedy” and legendary
director of the golden age of the Hollywood
silent film,
who finds himself bankrupt, alone and ob-
solete. Forced to sell his studio, he remi-
nisces about the glory days, from the chaos
of the Keystone Kops to his turbulent love
affair with rising star Mabel Norman.
The performances are being held over 3 nights from Wednesday
the 31st January to Friday 2nd February. The performance
starts at 7.30pm.

at university and attendance looks very favourable
on UCAS applications. Students should see their
Form Tutor, Mr Butterworth or Mr Edwards for fur-
ther support and guidance.
