THE GREAT ESCAPEA Travel Adventure to Source Exotic

Ingredients Worldwide

That's exactly what Patricia Luzi did as she envisioned heraromatherapy line named Po•tion Naked Essentials.

Traveling for much of the last 20 years, her passion was toresearch the skin care habits of indigenous tribes andexotic locations around the world to locate and introduceancient oils into the Western market.

"Essential oils are so magnificent because they arederived straight from the beauty of nature. I think theyare truly mystical, magical, and incredibly alluring. Youcan achieve amazing results by mixing, matching, andexperimenting with these natural gis."

Here is the story of the places Patricia traveled and theingredients she sourced for her special travel balm -Enliven Miracle Moisture Balm . . .

The oil possesses abundant healing abilities andprotective powers, along with building and maintaininga healthy immune system and giving youthful radiantlooking skin. It also calms and tightens the skin.

Cocoa butter is also a great antioxidant for fighting free radicalsand saving your skin from the signs of aging.

It is perfect for those long airline flights when the skin and lips canbecome dry and dehydrated!

Candililla Plant from Mexico

Candelilla Plant

I source the Candelilla Plant for wax in Mexico. The "Candelilla" givesthe appearance of little wax candles. In fact, the Candelilla plant wasburned directly for illumination, serving the purpose of a candle.

The Candelilla plant is extremely valuable as it's wax acts like a seal forthe plant in retaining moisture - thus it is also the same on your skin. Itis extremely resistant to disease which makes its healing propertiesmeasurable within a product

Traveling in South America, I go to Brazil to source Babassuand Cupuacu Butter. All are special hydrating ingredientsthat I'll add to the mix along with the Candelilla (vegan) wax.

Cupuacu Butter

Can anything be better than Coconut Oil? - well, it is saidthat Babassu is just that. The Babassu palm tree is nativeto Brazil's Amazon basin and stands approximately 20meters tall. The oil comes from the kernels of the palm andis a non-drying oil that improves the moisture content ofyour skin.

Babassu is high in Lauric and Myristic acids, which has amelting point close to the human body temperature. When applied, the oil draws the heat from the skin toinitiate melting thus acting as a valuable emollient whichquickly absorbs.

PATRICIA SOURCES INUSA

The U.S. produces one of my mostspecial ingredients - MeadowfoamSeed Oil.

Meadowfoam Seed Oil

This oil is very valuable as it is a fully refined triglyceride composed ofapproximately 95% fatty acids. The oil is a light-colored, odor freeproduct prized for its exceptional oxidative stability and functionalityin a wide range of cosmeticand personal care formulations.

Meadowfoam Seed Oil is distinct from many other natural oils, due tothe novel chemistry of its fatty acids, which contain more carbonatoms than fatty acids common in edible oils such as soy, almond, sunflower and olive. As a result, Meadowfoam Seed Oil providesgood emollient without being overly greasy or unctuous.

Meadowfoam Seed Oil is one of the most stable lipids known withnaturally occurring tocopherols (vitamin E) and the absence ofoxidative susceptible polyunsaturated fatty acids common in otheroils.
