design //in 2007, two leading international Volunteer agencies, australian Volunteers international (aVi) and Voluntary serVices oVerseas (Vso), ForMed a partnership to create opportunities For australians and new zealanders to undertake skilled Volunteering placeMents in deVeloping countries across the world. Made Visual was approached to reBrand and create a suite oF proMotional Materials to Market the partnership and opportunities to potential Volunteers.

proMotional Materials included an a5 inForMation Brochure and press adVertiseMents in a range oF industry Magazines.

design //the proMotional calendars were designed and craFted By Made Visual, the typographic design Featured the naMe oF the Month in 15 diFFerent languages in Varying Fonts and type styles. the proMotional calendars were sold at Markets, giFt shops and online.

the handMade calendars were aVailaBle in two sizes, one For your wall and one For your desk, and were printed locally on 100% recycled 230gsM enViro Board and Bound with silVer wire.

identity //the Bluestone is a new preMier entertainMent Venue located in a stylishly reFurBished 19th century Bluestone warehouse in the heart oF historic Ballarat.

aFter researching the history oF the Building three alternate identities were created. the chosen ‘B’ concept was Based upon the staMps originally used to identiFy the Merchants goods in the Buildings original warehouse incarnation.

identity //101 is the BaseMent night cluB at the Bluestone.

101 is the Buildings address in Mair street, Ballarat. the identity is Based upon the square ForM oF the 19th century Building, whilst keeping with the youthFul and Modern Feel oF the BaseMent night cluB.

identity //wordslice is a creatiVe editing consultancy that oFFers proFessional serVices in all aspects oF the written word.

we wanted to create an identity with intrigue. the coMBination oF the scalpel and the Fountain pen giVes an ‘old world’ Feel For the craFt oF writing rather than iMpersonal word processing.

identity //eVe salon & Beauty Bar is a Boutique hair and Beauty therapy salon in Ballarat. the identity needed to exude class and style.

the identity was applied to collateral including signage, Business cards, inForMation Brochures and press adVertiseMents.
