Here is a rough draft of our magazine, using a selection of different texts and images. We chose to use the Empire title and keep to their layout as best possible. We then changed the articles to make it into a short film special, advertising our film. We are keeping the black and white theme and using gold and red to emphasise elements. By using red it will keep to our film’s theme of the red rose, and the gold gives it a high-class feel. By including a picture of Charlie Chaplin it will hopefully encourage new audience members who are interested in old films, or who used to see him as a massive idol. By putting a competition at the bottom, it will also encourage people to buy the magazine in the hope of winning the prize. The main image however, will be of our main actress in her fur coat.
