Dack Fayden, Planeswalker thief, has stolen a valuable artifact from Ravnica,the Ancient Fang. Using his abilities to learn the artifact's secrets, instead hewitnesses the destruction of his hometown through the eyes of the villainthat committed the act: Sifa Grent. Dack sets out to track her down at hernext destination: Innistrad.

In Innistrad, Dack confronts Sifa, but allows her to slip away at the lastmoment. He follows her trail but soon loses track of her over differentplanes. But, thanks to the Planeswalker Sorin Markov, Dack's discoveredSifa's plane of origin. The price for this information is steep, though: Dackis forced to hand over the Ancient Fang in exchange for Sorin's information.Knowing the likely consequences if he were ever to return to Ravnica, Dackforges ahead and heads to Grixis, where he learns that Sifa is working forthe demon-dragon Malfegor. Narrowly escaping from the monster'sclutches, Dack returns to Ravnica, where Sifa's plan is beginning to unfold...
