12 - Section XI - Special Precautions

WARNING! Flammable. Treat as an OSHA Class IB flammable liquid. An acute overexposure to vapors from this product may cause headaches, dizziness, nausea and loss of consciousness. Chronic overexposure may cause irritation to the respiratory tract and to other mucous membranes or aggravate preexisting conditions. Prolonged or repeated skin contact can defat the skin and cause dermatitis. Avoid breathing vapors and contact with eyes or skin. This product contains toluene. Animal studies have shown that inhalation of high levels of toluene produced cardiac sensitization which could lead to fatal changes in heart rhythms. Intentional misuse by deliberate inhalation of toluene has also been shown to cause liver, kidney and brain damage.
