MAGO Dual-Sleeve Rebar Coupling System is a mechanical rebar splicing system. Thanks to its dual-sleeve rebar bond and connection through a high strength bolt it has the following advantages:– Each rebar is cold-swaged inside one sleeve, the press quality is guaranteed by powerful and reliable cold swage. The one bar-one sleeve system also avoids any possible stress concentration that may happen in two bar-one sleeve systems– The rebar-sleeve bond press is done prior to site connection saving precious site time– Sleeves are connected, quality ensured, through a high-strength bolt– Installation at site is easy and fast, even dense cages. No X-ray check needed and installation can be done in any weather conditions– No thread cutting, no heat or pre-heat on rebar is required; hence the rebar retains its original characteristics after splice– Stands full tension as well as full compression

MAGO DSC Standard Coupler
MAGO DSC Standard Coupler is suitable for general applications such as beams or walls, where rotation of the rebar is possible. Screw the bolt into one sleeve first, then rotate one rebar to screw theother bolt end into the other sleeve.
MAGO DSC Standard Coupler uses standard female sleeves only, making rebar press more efficient, as there is no need to specify different sleeves.

Application Guide for MAGO DSC Dual Coupler
Step 1. Screw the bolt into one coupler.
Step 2. Turn either rebar to screw the other end of the bolt into the other coupler.
Step 3. Tighten the connection by turning both rebars in opposite direction at the same time.

Step 3. Turn the Nut B to screw the bolt into the standard coupler.
Step 4. When the bolt stops at the nut A, tighten the Nut A and then turn the Nut B back to its lock position.

MAGO Rebar End Anchor is a mechanical anchorage for rebar in concrete.
The design is in compliance with ACI 318-08 and BS8110. It is suitable for use in concrete with rebars of the popular international codes like ASTM A615, BS4449 and ENV10080 etc.
MAGO Rebar End Anchors are available for rebar sizes from 12mm to 52mm.
MAGO DSA Rebar End Anchor is a steel anchor with a big foot threaded on a MAGO HTN Coupler,which is already pressed on the end of a rebar. It provides the same anchorage performance within theconcrete just like a hooked or bent bar.

The major technological breakthrough of MAGO DTR Parallel Threaded Coupling System consists in creating the thread by rolling instead of cutting. Thread rolling is a cold hardening process with greatadvantages over the traditional thread cutting. It has been proved to be extremely efficient and the splice complies with EN 1992-1-1 or BS 8666.

Two processes, tearing off the rib and thread rolling, are completed on only one machine.

Applications
MAGO DTR Standard Type is suitable for normal splicing where the continuation rebar can be rotated.
MAGO DTR Right or LeftThread Type is suitable for situations where both rebars are hard to rotate. The thread onone rebar is made to be right-handed, while the other is made lefthanded.The connection can be done by turning the coupler only.
MAGO DTR Transit Type has couplers with two different sizes of thread on each end, to connect rebars of different diameters.
MAGO DTR Extended with Locknut: The thread of one bar is extended full coupler length plus a locknut, suitable for bars thatcannot be rotated nor moved.

MAGO BSG Coupler System is a mechanical rebar splice system. By cold swaging the coupler onthe rebar the connection reaches the specified ultimate tensile strength as well as a yield strength of the rebars themselves.
With our special designed hydraulic press head and the portable hydraulic station, it can be either used at workshop or at site, even on the existing rebar embedded.

MAGO MLC Multiple Lock Couplers are made by our reliable supplier M/S Terwa in Netherlandfor reinforcement steel with diameters in the range of 10 mm to 40 mm. The connection is madeby inserting bars into both ends of the coupler. The breaking bolts are then screwed by hand andtightened by ratchet wrench until bolts shear off.These couplers can be used in particular cases to replace the damaged reinforcements with newones and to connect to old structure.

Anchoring is designed to ensure dead end embedment for reinforcement steel bars in concrete. Thishelps to reduce the congestion and simplify the placement of reinforcement bars by removing the needfor hooked ends.

Repair of an existing structure
To repair an existing structure byreplacing a corroded or damagedbar, the replacement bar mustbe cut approximately 5mmshorter to ensure clearance forinsertion between the ends ofthe original bars.
MLC couplers are pushedfully over both ends of thereplacement bar and temporarilytightened in position.
The replacement bar is thenpositioned and the MLC couplersmoved onto the existing bars, halfthe length of the coupler.
Then the breaking bolts aretightened to shear off.
